"Most ME2 romances can die at Suicide Mission. Will dead romance take effect in ME3 or it will be like romance never happen."

"Are asking if you cheated in ME2 whether you can get away with it, IF the one you cheated with died? Hmmmmmmm?? #CaughtOnTape"

On casual I'm invincible in ME1 (Except in the Mako, Goddess forbid I get a single wheel off the damn skyway). But in ME2 casual means I can no longer eat a sandwich at the same time as I do a mission.

^Possibly something with cut DLC in ME1 that might have involved Cerberus?

Probably this. ME 1 was meant to have some DLC where you are meant to meet the Illusive Man and go to several planets. Sam Hulick put out the soundtrack of the cut DLC on the internet somewhere.

Also I think Jack Wall (or S Hulick?) hinted elsewhere that TIM is meant to tick Shepard off/betray you/cause you strife somehow and that was meant to be a contributor to ME 2 somehow I heard

Can somebody twitt and ask about money? Will money be earned like in ME1 (killing things/open box/selling/whatever) or like in ME2 (mostly after missions)?

I also have a question I would like someone to pose for me, namely whether or not it's possible to retain the Cerberus paintjob of the SR-2 in ME3.

Yes please. Ignoring my love of Cerberus for two seconds, the blue paintjob looks weird to me. >.>

Reguarding the paint job, I think its going to be blue no matter what. You have to remember that the Normandy was impounded by the Alliance, and all traces of Cerberus being on the ship will be removed.

On the PC version at least you'll be able to texmod it, except for any pre-rendered cutscenes of course.

It was confirmed by Casey that since they're doing some CGI work, the Normandy will not be visually customizable. The Alliance commandeered and repainted it, and I'm kinda baffled why anyone would waste time doing cosmetic touch-ups on a warship when there's a galactic invasion underway.

Clearly they painted it before the Reapers showed up.

I don't think it's that bad, actually.

Better than having people judge me because it's either a Cerberus ship or that people thinks it looks like the SR1, which drags me into more trouble.

I'm pleased to hear that dead ME2 romances won't be ignored. I have several dramatically satisfying routes to take my various Shepards and I build their personalities based on one or two key events I have in store for them. (The rest is just them doing what they're going to do, regardless of perks or pitfalls.)

One of my main Shepards romanced Ashley in the first game, then romanced Tali in the second but I orchestrated her demise out of ME3 curiosity. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

I'm pretty sure there is no paint job which automatically renders your ship a lovable ally to every species. I don't think I'd want an Ezio cape Normandy, if you know what I mean...

This is a busy week for the devs it seems with Feature Z being reviewed, etc:

I'm too lazy to go through all the pages of this thread to see whether or not my question has been asked of the devs, so here it is - maybe one of you frequent posters knows the answer. Are there night missions? I think that would be pretty cool.

Devs have repeated that the war will start and end in ME3. Sounded like generalizing marketing, but still.

I haven’t read anything about missions specific times. Although the Squad Leader trailer seems to be happening at dusk.

Yeah, I think you're right about that.  And yet everything is pretty well lit - I certainly didn't have any trouble seeing anything that was going on at least.  I was talking more about a night mission that added a new level of difficulty to combat just because you can barely see anything.  I guess it would be similar to that one side mission in ME2 where you're on a planet with a really foggy (for lack of a better word) atmosphere and you couldn't see your enemies very well until they were right in front of you.  Can you imagine husks suddenly coming at you from out of the dark?  Those things give me the willies anyway.

Thanks for the reply :)

Look, I don't care what they did to the inside, they just better have kept their hands off the AI Core. >:(

It better.  If the Reapers aren't completely gone / annihilated / destroyed / whatever at the end of ME3 in at least one of my playthroughs - I will be a devastated young gamer.

But there is enough side stepping, that it at least looks as though there is a good chance the Reaper threat won't be abolished completely.

Actually there are two such side-missions: The Blood Pack Communication Relay where you have beacons to light your way and Kixen coming out at you from the fog and the other is N7: Anomalous Weather Detected where you fight Geth.

It certainly adds an interesting dimension to the fight (particularly the Geth one which I found quite tough on hard core).

Of course a night mission wouldn't be as bad visibility wise as fog. If you're prepared for the mission you probably have torches or night vision lenses.

I'm thinking the Thessia area might take place at night considering this:

Yes, I know it's concept art but it's the only indication that we might be seeing a nighttime area in ME3
