Besides, there's never a bad time to quote Star Wars.

Sure there is. You're a doctor and have just delivered a baby boy that the parents have decided to name Luke. Saying 'Luke, I am your father' would probably upset the actual father. :D

It'd only upset me because he got the quote wrong.

Its:

"No. I am your father."

;)

I actually used that to describe the full renegade ending to my friend.

It's an adequate description.

Unless you're quoting/impersonating Jar-jar. Then you deserve to be slapped, even if you're talking about how much you hate Jar-jar.

"So when will we see the official femshep trailer?"

"Still in progress. No date yet."

Most likely VGAs.

It's already late September. The VGAs are in December so just 2-3 months. Given all the big releases that are coming out now till late November and that they've skipped the chance to release something as big as the trailer with GameFest, Eurogamer and TGS, I don't believe anymore they would release the new trailer before the VGAs.

I concur. There aren’t any important cons until the VGA’s. I see the VGA’s as the point when they will switch into high gear the marketing campaign for ME3

Would they really premier a femshep trailer at the VGAs though? VGA always seem like the bottom of the barrel of the gaming 'market', so to say. Like, these are the guys that might legitimately think bioware replaced Manshep with Femshep. Maybe it's classed up since I've seen it though.

They did announce ME3 at the VGA's last year. I don't know if i'd call it "bottom of the barrel"

I would

Also do you absolutely need a con or some event to release a trailer?

I meant in terms of perceived audience. The VGAs always seemed like very elaborate product placement ads disguised as an awards show. Sprinkled in with very wide generalizations of the industry. It's the perfect place to announce something if it's getting enough viewers, especially a nice cinematic trailer like the ME3 one. But would a Femshep trailer really be the most effective there?

I saw Special Edition and I screamed for joy which scared my cat. Then I saw "lithos". I'm sad now. :crying:

You definitely DON'T need an event to release something as small as a character reveal trailer (in this case, FemShep). But knowing BioWare, they're probably doing it that way, which means we continue doing what we do best: waiting!

Screw that. They should reveal Vega and his VA like they promised months ago that they'd do "really soon".

"Really soon" means the next event in BioWare's dictionary, SWM. Come on, you should know that!

C’mon Vertigo, you didn’t like Neal Patrick Harris hosting of the VGA’s last year? Posted Image

You have a point, but I think they will follow the path they took pre E3. A flurry of private previews for magazine writers who would write their articles leading to VGA big show.
