You're probably right, but I think there's still a slim shot at one song being composed in time for E3. BioWare might be gunning to take some of the world by storm a bit with Mansell performing something, you know? Besides, there have been plenty of games that have a few tracks completed in time for E3. Metal Gear Solid 4 had one of its main themes heard nearly two years before it was released -- and it really left an impression.

I can see it happening:
The first gameplay footage at E3 for ME2 was Thane's recruitment which had background music for it

Therefore:
Since there will be gameplay footage at this years E3 I'm almost sure they would want to show off some music for it

I always wanted something like a Citadel elevator getting out of control and falling in the speed of multiple miles per hour. I think that I got that inspiration by watching a small physics quiz on TV. I think that you would have to jump a few meters before it hits the ground in order to survive.
