"Haven't been tweeting much lately. All spare time spent playing Mass Effect 3 instead of making pithy tweets. Can you blame me?"

Hopefully they've done a DA2 and separated the skip button from the select button so we dont skip things only to accidentally make the wrong choices :P

Oh by the great gods of gaming, yes please.

Oh, I didn't say I'd be happy about it. I was wondering if this was something they would actually do.

"I love this stage in a project where music starts going in. For me, music is the soul of the game experience."

I completely agree with this, but ME2 seriously lacked it for me.  There didn't seem to be any ambient music while running around on non-missions like in the Citadel and on the Normandy.  It was too quiet, except for the clubs in Afterlife.  I'm hoping ME3 brings it back in some way.

i absolutely love ME2's OST and yet, yes, I'll totally agree with you on this. There really needs to be much more ambient music.

I'd rather play the games than read the comics, thank you.

That's fascinating. I almost can't fathom such a scenario. But I certainly believe him. It takes all kinds. Some people are huge comic buffs and just aren't into gaming.

I don't doubt that at all, but still, it is really weird.

The life and soul of mass effect is essentially in the games, and I couldn't imagine anyone making a connection with characters or the overall setting without having played them.

Well, he's not wrong, I think that's what makes any Bioware game special.. the characters and the love that's put into bringing the settings to life. That sort of thing CAN transcend genres/mediums if done properly.

I mean, if you asked me what I was looking forward to most about ME3 at this very moment, it wouldn't be gameplay or story that I'd put at the top of my list. Seeing my squad-mates again and interacting with my favourite NPCs are definitely top priority.

Mac Walters is more or less saying that you CAN only just read the comics and not play the games but whether you SHOULD is another question entirely.

Check its main thread; Priestly said he couldn't let it go on any longer and let us off the hook -- the EA employee was incorrect, there was no planned big announcement this week.

That's the one in question, right?

While the "announcement" was incorrect, I'm still betting that there's an embargo on the latest ME3 info that will be lifted soon (I'm still hoping for something tomorrow or next week :P)

well, well, well. Ain't that somethin'.

For some reason this pisses me off. although I'm not sure exactly why. is it the idea that this ea employee was having some fun at our expense? Or, that BW gave this ea employee the hook for talking too much? or maybe because it keeps happening.

You know what, fine. Fine BW. This little game of titallation as gone on long enough. I will not chase after you like some awe struck teen crush.

And frankly, all the other so called big announcements that I watched on the live stream convention stuff turned out to be over hyped. Alot of big talkin, then you come w/ the equivalent of 2 minute lovin'. (no offense to the 2 minute men:P).

Keep crying "Big Announcement" wolf, and pretty soon I'm just gonna stop listening.

That is all.

Right getting back to this: Interviews:

LOL at the excuse but it seems a bunch of interviews went down today...

Who was doing the interviewing again? What was this for?

Various media...and it was for ME3 :P

I'm just trying topoint out how lately they have been teasing us and now with the mention of media blackout/embargo on the Vegas event, the media being shown more ME3 goodness a few weeks ago, the interviews today (including Hudsons interview for a future Bioware Pulse episode which he tweeted about yesterday)...I think we should be hearing some ME3 news...really, really soonish :P

I hope so, Vertigo. I truly do.

Is there anything coming up that would seem to serve as a proper platform. Or do you think there will just be a coordinated media release?
