...not that I disagree that it SHOULD be, how exactly are you planning on playing ME3? On console, or pirated? Because you won't be able to play any EA games without Origin on PC...

If you have physical copy you don't have to use Origin.
At least that's the case with The Old Republic.

If I can't get a physical copy, install the game, and play the game, without Origin, then I won't be buying or playing ME3.  Simple as that.

Anyway, game's still five months and a week away. I honestly don't mind the blitz starting in December. I'd love more information between now and then and fully expect we'll get it but I'm talking things like... you know, some Vanguard details, not... huge stuff.

Those finding this unbearable should find out what it's like to be a major fan of a Japanese game developer. We get low-quality Famitsu scans with text too indecipherable to translate and we have to chew on that for months on end.

All I want is for Christmas time to come along and for Bioware to release the Sur'Kesh gameplay as a downloadable demo for all platforms. Won't see many story elements while we get to try out the fancy new combat; I'll have my thirst for ME3 sated for a while if I was able to play a demo.

I hate to say this, but you could at least torrent it if all else fails. Usually new games are up on torrent within the first few hours of launch. I don't play on PC though so I can't be sure, but I've heard as much.

(That's a really good example of utter ridiculousness for sure, but I was talking about games with... er, more average development histories too.)

Haha, I know hey!

I honestly just feel sympathy for those saying they won't play ME3 if Origins is indeed required. I'd hate for them to miss out on the final chapter of the trilogy because of something that shouldn't be.

I guess I'm lucky to be a 360 user. Really, Origin sounds like a total fuss.

Above all, that's what makes me wish we could have full conversations with Kasumi. Going in that room for a drink after a tough mission (or in my personal canon male Shepard's case, because he's somewhat of an alcoholic for most of ME2) always makes me feel like Kasumi is... a bit of a bartender. Listening to her talk after grabbing a red, blue or violet is fun but getting into conversations with her would be better.
