Ah! Double post. Khm. I just wanted to say it's interesting if penalty for using two specialised weapons will be cumulative - say, a little restricted in rolling if carry Widow and Revenant, seriously restricted if Widow, Revenant and Claymore, - and, if so, how much trouble will each new weapon add?

Sounds lovely, but I'd rather see that than hear about it.

So yeah… you should be able to carry the Revenant and the Widow, but that’s it… no heavy pistol, no SMG or shotgun. So you should be very careful when choosing your load out before leaving for a mission

I could’ve sworn I read somewhere (I’m too lazy to look for the source) that in ME3 any class will be able carry any weapon. The caveat is that Shep will have fewer slots for them. There is your penalty. If I remember correctly; the Soldier will have three slots and the rest of the classes will have two plus one for the heavy.

Err Soldier has 5 slots, other classes have 3 (not inlcuding Heavy Weapon)

but normally the Soldier has 5. Vanguards (and I'm assuming Infiltrators) have 3. And I'm going to assume that Engineers, Adepts, and Sentinels can carry 2 weapons. This excludes heavy weapons..

DON"T JOKE ABOUT THAT! I've had nightmares where I was playing Oblivion and Faloout 3 and I got that message after finding a huge loot stash. Then I died and woke up sweating.

I'm already having anxiety dreams about being over-encumbered in Skyrim. LOOT DECISIONS!
However, in Mass Effect it's easy. If my choice is between being a biotic warrior and having 2 more guns on me, I choose biotic warrior. Singularity/Warp > Extra Pistol

As long as that doesn't involve dodging Pyros that are camping around corners, that's cool.

Okay, I'm probably just confused.. but that also means that the Soldier's 5 weapon slots do NOT include the heavy weapon, yes?
