So that means the game is 2/4 finished right?

Far more than that. We're 5 months till the release which means they have only about 4 months left for developement (since every game needs to go gold few weeks before premiere in order for physical copies to get manufactured, distributed etc). That means they're wrapping everything up and focusing on final fixes, overall polish & debugging. All systems should be in at this point, all levels, characters etc. They may still need polish, but at this point they I don't think they would be bulding levels/systems from scratch. They may be still recording voice-overs but that's just a matter of putting recorded files in to already existing scenes and most of the VO work is definitely done anyway.

Yeah that's what I call being open minded.:wizard:

'' And as always you are in control of many of the outcomes'' Does this mean there are going to be some things that are inevitable, like ME1 Virmire?

Probably, but no one can really say for sure and to what degree...

Well didn't [forgot name] already say that at gamescom in Germany? Think he said 'Some things *will* be unavoidable'. As always that could mean pretty much anything though:pinched:

Hey Veritgo_1,

Can you ask one of the devs to give an overall estimation for the number of possible endings?

I mean CDPR was kind enought to mention 16 different endings (this include minor alterations). I can't see why Bioware can't at least brag about the overall number of different outcomes in the game. ^_^

Well since Vertigo isn't here right now I took the liberty to ask myself.

Doubt they'll answer, but fingers crossed.

Does anyone know who from the Bioware team I could ask about Shep's dancing skills?

I think I read in a topic (Brendon Holmes Q&A maybe?) that the game was playable from start to finish back in May or something.

Last Christmas actually (Preston Watamaniuk said this)
But yeah, it was probably just white levels with barely any (or placeholder) sounds

I really love that the devs are tweeting and sharing info with us, much appreciated, but am I the only a little saddened here that ALL they're talking about is combat?

Can anyone ask any questions about some RPG elements or perhaps something else?

the only thing they CAN talk about is combat (and I'm assuming that by RPG elements you mean ability progressions and mods and stuff...which can fall under combat)...

anything else would be spoilers...

and I'd rather know as little as possible about anything other than the combat as possible...I don't even want Level 1 spoilers until 2012...(like the trial, for instance...not the fact that it takes place on Earth, we all know that)

Well they have talked about the new power evolution like the Nova etc.

However, if you were hoping that Bioware would show off the branching storylines (if they have any) you'll be disappointed since it crosses into spoiler territory which Bioware is avoiding like heck right now.

I don't mean story spoilers, how about whatever RPG aspects there? Or how the sidequests will work, or how resource gathering will work, or how customization will be, etc..?

How sidequests will work: what they've told us so far is that sidequests will be more intertwined with the main narrative. They've also said that they are considering vehicle missions but if they do have vehicular gameplay in ME3, that it'll be for side missions only and not part of the main game.

How resource gathering works: I dunno...they did say that it'll be different from how they handled it in ME2, though

RPG aspects: RPG aspects is a very broad term. It could mean story, dialogue, item management, skills, literal role playing, customization. In terms of story and dialogue, they've given us teases as to how awesome it is but they'll obviously never tell us. They did mention a more robust economy, but as to how it works is anyone's guess. We've seen a tease at how weapon customization works in all the Sur'Kesh demos as well as how our abilities are handled. If you want more details on the skills that have been revealed so far, head here

They haven't talked or showed new economy, loot (they've said both got expanded), they haven't talk/showed armor customization for Shep & squad. They haven't talked/showed exploration, new/reworked mining system, whether there is a (new?) vehicle for planet exploration. Tons of stuff that surely is done in big part at this point (just 4 months left of development) so it's not like they can't show at least a teaser of these features.

I don't. But this is important! Try asking Casey. He'd probably know.

*crosses fingers* I hope we get our dance moves back. I hated the shuffle.

I've been dying to know this myself. Let us know if you get an answer.

This is encouraging.  I was totally thinking everyone at Bioware was only interested in engaging ONE emotion - the one where I want to shoot myself in despair.  All I know is that the "Big Highs" better not amount to "LOL LOOK CONRAD IS BACK AND YOU CAN PUNCH THAT REPORTER LULZ!"
