Any news on the estimated number of endings?

No, but I'm hoping they run the gamut from "happily ever after" to "you dun messed it all up."

They haven't talked or showed new economy, loot (they've said both got expanded), they haven't talk/showed armor customization for Shep & squad. They haven't talked/showed exploration, new/reworked mining system, whether there is a (new?) vehicle for planet exploration. Tons of stuff that surely is done in big part at this point (just 4 months left of development) so it's not like they can't show at least a teaser of these features.

Yes this is what I mean.

Media limitations...how can they go into it via Twitter without showing off what they mean?
Maybe they don't want to talk about it just yet?  I've asked already but not gotten a response, I'm sure ohers have too.

Also:

They have time, besides the next info wave is incoming soon (Starting tomorrow with a new ME3 Pulse episode).

Hudson already said they would be talking more about exploration/mining/side-quests in the Fall (via SDCC Q&A @ ~24:00)

And the other stuff:

Side quests will integrate more with the main story of ME3 via Mac Walters:
"Overall, the [side] missions are much more integrated in story and gameplay. There will be some small plots that are stand alone too."

Planet scanning is going to be changing via Chris Priestly:
"The team hasn't locked down exactly what they are doing with it"

Damn it. My question ended up being the last post on page 269. -__-

Here I go again:

I could’ve sworn I read somewhere (I’m too lazy to look for the source) that in ME3 any class will be able carry any weapon. The caveat is that Shep will have fewer slots for them. There is your penalty. If I remember correctly; the Soldier will have three slots and the rest of the classes will have two plus one for the heavy.
So yeah… you should be able to carry the Revenant and the Widow, but that’s it… no heavy pistol, no SMG or shotgun. So you should be very careful when choosing your load out before leaving for a mission

Err Soldier has 5 slots, other classes have 3 (not inlcuding Heavy Weapon)

Okay, I'm probably just confused.. but that also means that the Soldier's 5 weapon slots do NOT include the heavy weapon, yes?

It does not include Heavy Weapon as far as we can tell here: www.youtube.com/watch

@ 0:46- 0:48 You can see that he has all slots including SMG and Pistol (in hand)

Also sorry no one answered before, new tweets and all :P

Yep, I had no idea, thanks for the link. English is not my first language, and I'm familiar with the term in my native tongue. Good info.

When there's entire planets being harvested, a large percentage of the human population wiped out, most conflicts rising to their boiling point, a galactic invasion which everybody is at risk and more? I don't expect, nor do I want, an ending where Shepard saves everybody and lives happily ever after with the galaxy in harmony.

Sacrifices should be made in the name of protecting the galaxy, not everybody can live to see that "happy ending".

Then don't get that ending.

But then other people get to have that ending, and the mere possibility it exists would ruin all your fun which I suppose is all that matters.

I'm sorry if I don't treat Mass Effect and the threat of universal destruction like a Disney movie?

But some people will want the Disney ending and they should be accomodated.

It's not universal.
It's galactic.

I agree with Dave on the ending.
In ME3 there is a galactic war. It's unlikely that everyone will survive. It'll be a little unrealistic if there's the possibility that every major characters would survive. Someone should die. A squadmate, an important NPC, Shepard. Just like it's unrealistic that Earth will not suffer a lot of deaths.
I'd prefer a lot more if they'll make some Virmire situation than the avoidable deaths of the SM. That was my major problem with ME2.
Sure, there'll be ending that it'll be happier than another, but I'd like if it'll not be a "everyone happy" ending,

Yeah, I used the wrong word. I think that it'll be unrealistic if every major characters will survive. If there's that ending, "I'll seriously start thinking to go on the (probably) Shepard dies for destroy the Reapers" ending

I hope they do this too. I think for the final installment in the trilogy, this is the best solution. I don’t expect a Disney ending, but I don’t want my teammates dying just for the sake of someone dying.

Incorrect. Believability should not be sacrificed for the sake of placating the fanbase. That said, I wouldn't mind a Decisive Victory ending (think end of Lord of the Rings), a Complete Disaster ending (the Cycle continues, etc.), and a whole range of endings somewhere in between.

I agree, though in the RofK Gondor suffered heavy losses before the victory, and Theoden and Denethor died.
