We actually live in a age where Women are becoming dominate over Men in their roles.
Psh, keep dreaming, buddy! We still live in an age where any job that's dangerous, as in it could kill you, is over 90% filled with men. We're hardly obsolete yet.
As for the cancellations, there reason they're unreasonable is because it is completely silly to want to buy a game one second, hear about a single feature you don't like and then swear it or any future series off for the rest of time when the game isn't even out yet when you barely know anything about it!
But it doesn't matter. The vast majority of so-called 'pre-order cancellations' were declared on the spot and likely without any follow-through, mostly cries for attention I'd wager.
Looking forward to the Pulse episode, but I won't be able to watch it for another 8 hours or so it seems.

I've got quite a list of games I cancelled pre-orders for because I found out before release they required always on DRM or something of that ilk.
Everynow and then I still look at the box of Settlers 7 in the store wondering what might have been....

I did say most. You will have people that put a lot of care into making points with their pre-orders and all, which is great and stuff, but I'd say most people just get games because they could be fun and not to make a point.

Oh for sure, most people who will cancel their pre-orders probably wouldn't be spouting it up and down the forums.
They'd just do it and spend their moolah on another game. The real gravy will be in the people who purchase the game and DON'T play multiplayer. That will make more of a point than not buying the game.

On topic, I think this is acting as a sort of primer before they have a full blown MP mode in their upcoming ME universe games. Assassin's Creed Brohood's MP was shockingly enjoyable and as such I'm getting the next one with no reservations. Having already been through that kinda cushions the surprise of this reveal
[OffTopic] Funny, because AssRev is actually the first AC I won't be (insta)buying... not just because of the multiplayer (which I didn't really mind, but didn't enjoy either), but that too forms part of their current strategy to 'sell well': it seems to me they have forgone challenging, sneaky (as in: assassin's) gameplay, and innovation. It seems to have gone for accessibility and frequent releases instead... which [ontopic] is why there are so many people afraid of the increase in 'accessibility' in games nowadays. Whereas not necessarily wrong, it does sometimes drive games away from an innovative, unique direction and instead turns them in a generic shooter. I'm not saying ME3 will be a generic shooter, but I do hope there is some understanding for the general distrust towards this kind of stuff.

1. Will this 'readiness' and 'impact' effect a single "cinematic", "dialogue" or "mission" in the entire single player game in the sense of won't see that cinematic or dialogue or be able play that mission or quest unless do co-op?
2. Will it be mostly plans for MP DLC to come, or SP DLC or even a 50/50 split?
3. Is MP based on 'have to have' four friends that have the same game and same system for that game to play? Will it be PUG or LFG based random people in team to make up numbers? Or can it be played as single player with AI controlled companions?

You do realize that this video was planned to be released as this week's BioWare pulse in time with the announcement via the internet and other magazines, right? We've never recieved a specific date for that vanguard video.ramdog7 wrote...
