I wonder if that means that that we'll be using Vega as our main character if we managed to kill Shepard in ME2 or if we're just getting started.  It would be interesting, might even make me do a playthrough with Vega.  Its pure speculation though, but they've said that he's the new perspective for first time players.  Its completley possible that I'm looking too far into it.  But hey, we're all here to datamine and pointlessly speculate until March.

My OCD compels me to import.  I can't start ME2 without playing ME1.  I can't even use an old save for ME2, it has to be one I remember playing.  Well, 90 hours of ME in March for me, I guess.  I'll have to get the different story experience from youtube.

That goes for me too. Are you a completionist on every one of your runs as well? My OCD has really limited my number of imports

They've long maintained that "Dead Shep" == "No Import", and it was one of the loading screen tips in ME2.  At best, they might throw Dead Shep a bone with a little easter egg cinematic for importing, but I'd rate even that as pretty unlikely.

Mixed feelings.  On one hand, yay unlockables!  On the other, damn you unlockables!

Then again, it makes sense.  Since multiplayer CAN affect single if you want it to, single should affect multi.

It's alright, I'd plan on doing one complete playthrough before trying MP anyway

Oh yes, I most certainly am. I never leave any stones unturned. Which for me is sort of a problem in ME2, even, because I'm one of those nutcases who likes to orchestrate (as much as I kinda hate to all the same...) a few squadmate deaths at the Suicide Mission more often than not. Never because I hate the character or anything, but just because I can't help but feel it resonates more for me given their odds. Yeah, one of them. So I have to meta to make it happen because I do everything to technically avoid it every file. Oi!

I just rewatched todays Pulse episode and Silverman says "We'll be back with plenty more surprises next week..."
