Concerning the race/class gender issue, there are currently a couple of conflicting statements in play. I've sent out a tweet or two to the developers but thus far they've been unanswered. These guys and gals do get slammed in-between hefty workloads though so we just have to keep harping at 'em and eventually they'll get around to answering... hopefully.

Now, as for what those two conflicting statements are... troublingly, I can't quite recall offhand. I'm on the dreaded PS3 browser again or I'd go hunting around. But basically, one magazine is stating you can change your gender for everyone but the asari whereas another is saying "and if you pick a human, you can even change your gender." Pretty contradictory.

Having the Drone and the Turret both out (you can, if you missed that bit of news) and going around using the Heavy Melee attack on Cerberus units as they were distracted was fun...I even got two of them with one heavy melee attack! (they were next to each other when that Fiery Omniblade attack did it's sweep )...and yeah the Turret is a grenade that you throw and expands vertically into a turret.

Unfortuantely, no.  I thought at first there was a time limit to the demo (15 minutes) so I just hit 'Y' to autolevel up everyone's skills...when I realised this was not true (You get one full run and that's it) it was too late to go back to re adjust things <_<

Pretty sure when they are allowed to say if there's a demo they will say so, until then they probably won't say (meaning it's too early to say)

Multiplayer might have some implications for the save system, though.  We'll probably have to wait for more multiplayer details to surface.

This is the exact reason for me asking and my only fear of having a multiplay component, save points.

This seems like a completely unwarranted fear. Is it that you don't want save points in MP missions? Because they're completely separate from SP campaign. Besides, I don't think the MP missions are designed in a way that enables or requires saving at any point.

If its totally separate I have no problems at all, even with save points.

From what I read in the OXM december edition, they said you can choose your gender for any race. Key word "any". I'm guessing the other races will include females then?

No it says: "and when you chose to play as human for any of the classes, you'll also be prompted to select your gender"

So for now at least the option is only available for humans, could change though.
