I remember when they first announced ME3 last year with the first trailer. People were going butthurt about how its only been a few months since the release of ME2 and they should wait a few years before showing off content.
Fast forward to right now. The same butthurt people are now going "AWESOME" at the production of ME3, but getting butthurt over co-op which has been said many times by BioWare it wont impact the single player experience, because its PART OF THE SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCE.
Its like this. Instead of having crappy AI for teammates, you actually can have your friends control them!!! Isn't that cool???
And they are staying true to their word. No COD like Multiplayer in this game. Just a simple co-op that for example is in Fable series or the Lego adventure games like Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Which did pretty well with co-op I might add.
They said it, and I'll say it.
If you don't like it, don't play it. And stop complaining about something you cannot change. Granted a lot of content that goes in, comes from us fans, but its ultimately their game. What they want in, goes in. So either suck it up or shut up.

And those butthurt people can't make up their mind.

Not playing ME3 AT ALL just because it now has co-op makes no sense... at all.
I get it if you cancelled your pre-order and want to see if the reviews match what Bioware's been saying lately... but to not finish the trilogy because of an ADDED and essentially SEPARATE feature? Come on now...
Hey, one less to worry about

if you have followed any of the ME3 news it should be quite clear that there is WAY more RPG elements then ME2, and honestly, more meaningful ones then ME1.
To be honest I can't really be bothered by the multiplayer discussion. I don't expect too much of it, but I like Bioware's approach: it allows them to squeeze in a multiplayer component and still develop ME3 along the lines most fans expect them to. For me the longevity and replayability of ME games is about reliving it's story and characters.
But I mainly feel the need to respond here because the imbalance of the argument here. Here's this guy arguing his beloved ME franchise got sold out to EA-lzebub and lost it's RPG elements, etc. There's a plethora of posts to counter his allegedly void arguments with in my opinion equally empty claims.
Agreed, there's a lot of marketing talk about rpg elements here and there and everywhere, but to be honest I haven't seen any of them yet. And I've been following the hype pretty close.
So yeah, go ahead and feel about multiplayer in ME3 any way you like, but until we've seen those end gam. e credits I don't think we should be assuming too much about the nature and extent of the RPG in it.
I respect what you are saying but im having trouble understanding it. What is it exactly that you feel Me3 is lacking in the RPG department, or really i guess i should say, what are the necessary components to make an RPG in your eyes?

I could be remembering wrong, but wasn't there suppose to be some sort of treat for the Tali cosplayers/fanartists coming up?
It was actually a panel giveaway for cosplayers/fanartists for Tallis, the character from the new DA II DLC Mark of the Assassin. People just glanced at it and assumed Tali.

That's the reaction any announcement here receives. When it was announced that ME2 would get a PS3 port the word 'betrayal' became quite popular.Submachiner wrote...
I think people are getting too butthurt over this co-op aspect in the game. Its not a big deal, yet people have to treat it like one.

So were there any announcements at NYCC?
All I can find is Q&A's.
I was at the Q&A. When I asked Mac if the Hanar and the Elcor would be involved in the game he said all races are going to be involved in the Galactic War. The only definite thing he revealed was the fact that the Alliance took out the communication device the Illusive Man had installed.

Or at least remember it? Could you tell us if the smaller Ashleys on the left really depict her in armour and if smaller Kaidans on the right show his casual look or different armor(s)? Cause it's hard to tell from such LQ pic...

Unfortunately I didn't manage to take a picture of this screen, the inflatable omnitool on one hand got in the way.
I do remember the armor though. It looked pretty interesting, lighter armor than what I expected. The hair style looks a lot more conservative when she's in it (maybe it's in a bun, can't remember) and there seems to be a triangular area on the front. It either looks like a gap to see cleavage (hopefully not) or some sort of different material.

Thanks! But it was an actual armor right, even if pretty light? What about Kaidan? Do the small Kaidans in top right corner (with white stripe on the knees) showed him in another different armor or was it a more casual look, some equivalent of Ashley's jacket-outfit?Thargorichiban wrote...

It did seem to be actual armor for Ashley. It seemed to fit her new role as a Spectre.
That alternate look for Kaidan seemed to be a casual look at first glance.
I also enjoyed the pic they showed of Anderson, it seems to fit what people have said about him being the leader of a resistance cell on Earth.

The only thing about the port I disliked was the fact that the PS3 gamers got DLC that we 360 gamers had to pay for for free. That's what I didn't like about it.
That was a wrong move by BioWare on my view.
