VOs recording is the only major stuff to do (and I think it's mostly done anyway) since it strictly depends on external factors such as actors' availability. But almost everything should be in at this point, all the content, quests, mechanics, animations etc. Debugging & polishing will keep them busy till the release.JeffZero wrote...
Yeah, there's probably a lot left. This is the point in which recording goes into high octane with the series, I've noticed.
Well another major factor involved is how big a role the VA has. Meer and Hale have obviously been the go-to duo for "get started early and keep your gorram schedule open for us" since the beginning, given the whole 'Shepard' thing. But Anderson's VA remarked as late into ME2's January release schedule as September that he hadn't heard back from the studio yet.
Anderson had a rather reduced role from ME1 in ME2 though. So that no doubt tied to it. But this time we heard his voice as far back as E3, which could have been a combination of his availability and the team deciding early on that they wanted scenes with him to be part of the E3 showcase. But it also could have meant that my assumptions that he'd have a much larger role in ME3 were correct. Here's hopin'.
Fan concerns like Mordin's VA coming back won't be alleviated until there's blatant proof Beattie's voicing for the professor, on the other hand, but given that Mordin may mostly 'just' be on Sur'Kesh, it's not too surprising that they might only be grabbing him now. And then, on the other hand, availability could have played the biggest part in it.
I'm not really sure what point I'm trying to make, Isaac, lol. Just ranting, I suppose.
