Hmmmm, nope. Us PS3 gamers first got the demo in december 2010, then the game a month after on januari 21st 2011.

The demo wasn't PS3-exclusive, though; it was also released for PC and 360 users. ME2 had been out for close to a year by the time the demo was available on these platforms.

That, or the Earth demo. Which I hope is in there, because I'm a little tired of Sur'Kesh.

That made me laugh more than the "riding" Tali and Miranda joke.   Grunt's is actually my favorite. I'd rock that on a door, but not an elevator only because I hate elevators and avoid them as often as possible.  Then again, my aesthetic tastes might be a bit off.  Of all ME's races I like Turians and Krogan's best, not because they look cool or badarse but because they are cute.  Completely friggin' adorable. <3

For the demo I'm excited at the prospect of seeing the Vanguard skills, Earth, and teammates other than Liara and Garrus.  I have no problems with those two characters, they're just getting kind of old because they're the only ones we've been shown in action.

I hope the single player portion of the demo is just a more polished version of the Sur'kesh demo. I don't want to know any more of the story other than that, and would just like to experience gameplay and not story until ME3 comes out.

Can someone actually tweet and ask them that? If it is the Sur'kesh demo?

If you don't want to be spoiled, then don't play the demo. I honestly hope it's not Sur'kesh, because quite frankly that's all we've been seeing. Most likely it will be the intro of the game.

They won't go into details this early....if they were then it would be in the FAQ already
But it's likely it's the Sur'Kesh demo since it's the most polished demo out there right now (so to speak)

Well one of the reasons they said they only showed Sur'kesh was because the team didn't have time to fix up another demo. Apparently the Sur'kesh demo has outdated gameplay mechanics, animations, etc... I'm guessing that they've had the public demo planned for a while, which means they probably have a newer build to release. It could very well be the Sur'kesh mission with the latest version of ME3, or it could be another mission. I'm hoping it's the latter, because I'm tired of seeing Sur'kesh.

That's exactly what I plan to do if it isn't the Sur'kesh demo, but is also the reason why I do want it to be the Sur'kesh demo, so I will play it.  But even if it isn't, I won't mind not playing that part, I just want to experience the gameplay, so playing the multiplayer mode will be enough.

Could one say that it'll have a...massive effect on the developers? 

They should really sell those USBs. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
