Nah, we have no real idea on that one last I checked. We forumites have discussed its possibilities to death for a long time now. Many of us are hoping it's a clue to the origins of the Reapers and/or how to take them down. Many more are hoping it's a great argument-inducing example of flavor text not always meaning more than meets the eye.

Personally I'm in the "would like to see it prove itself relevant in ME3 but won't be angry if it's never again brought up" camp.

Thanks Jeff.  I'm thinking along the lines as it could be an element in taking the reapers out.  Anyways, thought I'd ask as it's always in the back of my mind when playing ME2.  Particulary when TIM talks the 'Great Rift' story.

Yeah, I only just noticed the red/blue overlay and the burning Earth bit.  I never looked close enough to ever think it was more than a metallic reflection or something.  AWESOMENESS.

Agreed. Clean & concise... not littered with a bunch of nonsense action scenes. Excellent cover indeed.

It's... great. Here's this huge Jack fan, this Jackolyte as they call themselves, and they're really itching for some new Jack information, and Casey Hudson comes whipping around the corner like a charging krogan on the field of battle, and he tackles them with that statement. I mean, it's stinging.
