As much as it frustrates me I have to praise bioware for being so tight lipped this time, and for sticking to the same demo over and over.

And acting surprised when the Normandy blew up. And when Shepard died. And when Tali was accused of treason. And when Thane said he was dying. Etc.Nashiktal wrote...
Ugh don't remind me. I had a hell of a time trying to pretend I didn't know who arch angel was, what gender jack was, that okeer actually doesn't join me etc....

Bioware put way too much of the story in the marketing. Their restrant this time around will make the story all the better. I loved ME2's story, but I knew too much in advance. Same for ME1 - you're meant to believe you're hunting Saren and stopping the Geth, but if you followed the game at all you knew all about the Reapers and the Cycle beforehand. And the fact that you'd have to choose between Ash and Kaiden.
I appreciate that marketing requires trailers, and by necessity some spoilers make their way into these trailers. I just hope there aren't as many as there were in the ME2 marketing. They're doing a great job so far - and with MP, changes to the classes and the addition of more RPG stuff Bioware has plenty to show off in the marketing besides the story.

I should consider myself lucky then, all my buddy said was it is a good rpg game with a great story, and I bought it.
Mind was blown, be assured. In ME2, not so much. Or at all.

do you think the majority of ME gamers actually watch all the trailers? I dont mean that sarcastically, I'm being serious. I wouldn't be surpised if the majority of people who bought ME-2 (even the ones who bought ME-2 a year later for the PS3) didn't have too much previous knowledge of it.....
Also, the ME-2 story wasn't exactly too intricate. The Reapers are users and parasites. They exterminated or liquified all those who wouldn't help them, we knew that. I thought I was getting Okeer (the first time I played the game) and I was thinking "hmm, how are he and Mordin gonna get along"?
And yea, wutever IssacShep just said.....we're on here because we want info and when we get it, we say "We got too much info".

This seems familiar to anyone else?

How would a Prothean ever survive for 50,000 years, only to become a squadmate?! All the others on Ilos died in a muc shorter time than that!
Wasn't the first Prothean artifacts discovered by humanity on Mars?
Really hope there isn't a live Prothean there, though, Anderson said it was "just a small data cache" that was found.
I wouldn't mind using the Mars base to hide out from the reapers for a bit but then again from the screen shots Cerberus is all over that place like white on rice so I really doubt its just a data cache like Anderson thinks because now that shep can speak, read, and write prothean he'll more then likely find a treasure trove of things the initial research team and Cerberus can't including a beacon but I'll be really mad and annoyed if we find a living prothean anywhere in the game that doesn't die within 5 seconds of us opening his sleeper pod.
I really think the protheans should be dead why bother to have shep mentally become one when I can just go to my prothean dictionary in the science lab and ask him/her to do all the work for me? I don't mind finding the beacons infact I love finding them,
I don't mind finding VI like Vigil I do mind having alive one that knows everything and decides sense he's the last uncorrupted one in the galaxy he'll just fight the reapers because his ancestors did and he likes shep.

I will wait till Normal Demo, ok but in MP we are not using power wheel are we?
Well if you think about it you can't freeze time in a multi player like you can with single player when you bring up the power wheel so assigned buttons only make sense.
Also your not controlling your companions which is half the point of the power wheel so it doesn't really fit in on the multi player side of things but that's just my opinion.

Has been said somewhere that it is only assigned buttons, and then all other MP powers for the classes are passive
