Crap, they didn't answer my question about seeing Tali's face.

Dotn worry they didnt answer my question either about the Prothean Squadmate

They can't do that even if they wanted to, he's supposed to be a secret until launch.

Bit of a pointless question, since unlike the rest of the press, most of us havent played the MP yet.

Indeed, it is a bit of a pointless question. But going off the previews I've read, ME3 MP isn't sounding too hot.

Hence why they want a different sound to counter the negativity. Which they wont get until january and even then I doubt itll all be praise and honor.

I hate to sound like the rest of the BSN board and I was really looking forward to the MP after the enthousiasm showed by the tweeting Bioware members, but after that...well...bloodbath....from the previews....I dunno... :?

Hmm the question sounded more like "Has your current stance towards MP changed after reading the previews?" rather than "What do you think of the MP mode?"

I do like the idea of being able to RP some more characters in my ME storyline, and then play through co-op missions using them (though likely solo), but it all depends on how much story context these missions get, which we don't find out much about from these previews

If multiplayer doesn't live up to itself, the forums are going to be a bloodbath.

I believe a lot of the negativity is coming from the Co-op not being innovative and "out of date" in a sense compared to established franchises who have similar modes; Gears Of War, Uncharted. I believe that it's a good thing though, it's going it's own direction, while sticking with the context of the universe. The use of powers adds a more tactical approach, where other games only focus on the guns, Mass Effect is able to bring another element into the mix.

Sure, it might not be as well done as the Spec-OP mode in MW2 (whatever it was called), or the Horde mode from Gears of War, but it feels like Mass Effect and I find that to be the best part.

Fix'd

Trust me... Any flaws in SP will somehow be redirected to Bioware's "wasteful" implementation of MP. =]

Then, an all-out ****storm will c ome with various factions complaining about how Bioware has sold out to casuals and how the world is collapsing etc.

I don't think that will be the best part personally. Its hard for me to put into words, but while powers are great and all, you don't get too many of them. If the rest of the game just isn't up to snuff...

You know bioware was doing fine without trying to play catchup to the shooter side of gaming today. Its making me a sad panda.

Could someone ask the devs a quick question from me on twitter? I'd appreciate it.

The question: "Will you be able to adjust the level of auto aim in ME3? Too often in ME2, I'd find myself lining up a headshot on an enemy, and then another one would wander across my field of view, dragging the scope off my target. If I remember correctly, ME1 had the option to adjust this.  I dunno why this was dropped, but I'd very much like to see its return in the final game."

Once again, thanks to anyone who takes the time to help!

True, but the power and class system will still make it different from other games. Also, I agree, they were doing fine, but I'm being open to the idea of this Co-op feature. If I don't like, then that's too bad for me.

Again I don't think it will be that different. The class system as we have seen so far is outdated, and the powers themselves are not that unique. They will be given a ME feel of course, but powes have been used in multiplayer gaming for some time now.

I didn't want multiplayer in the first place, but when they first started describing it I was coming around... But now the previews came, and the fact I can't even play my favorite race... It just doesn't seem appealing anymore.

I don't know man, being able to use the Vanguard's charge, or Sentinel's Tech armor in a group seems pretty wild. In my perspective, it brings out a unique feel. You never know, they might have more races for DLC or something, but let's not get into the whole DLC aspect over the twitter thread, lol.

It surely does, after my initial disapproval of the MP I somehow convinced myself, after the FAQ surfaced, that in the end it might not be that bad and that I'll give it a shot if executed properly...now I know it is only reiterated COD gameplay feature (endless spawning of enemies) in third person but with limited amount of waves...

The MP has RPG aspects though, that in my opinion puts it above gears or cod or whatever.

The real question is, if we see Tali's face and it's ugly, can we punch it?

You can just shorten that question to "Can we punch Tali?"

For real. There's no need to include that much auto-aim in the first place. A little bit is fine on a console shooter. For example, the Halo games have all had a little bit, but it's incredibly minor compared to ME2's "I'm going to aim this gun for you whether you like it or not" approach.

Translated: Importing is not necessary for awesome, but it makes stuff more awesome.

So like ME2 I guess.  Hopefully with bigger payoffs this time, but I'll only be mildly disappointed if it's about the same.

Animation guys: Okay, here are hundreds and hundreds of conversation cutscenes, now put sounds on them.

Sound guys: HEEEELLLLL NO! *write program to detect movement and do it for them*

Seriously, that's some cool tech and a definite timesaver.
