Err it will probably be something like you import and depending on your import lvl you will have X points to spend on talents at the beginning.

Is that so? Wouldn't that tone down how much we can edit our powers? I mean, if for each level up we get to add to an aspect of our powers(lower recharge time, increase duration, etc.) wouldn't it be better to start from the beginning to get the highest level of customized powers? Now I'm just a bit worried.Robhuzz wrote...

"When leveling up a ME3 character will you be able to see ALL possible upgrade paths for a power before putting points into it?"
"Yes all upgrade paths on powers are visible to allow for your own optimal character build."
Could you ask him what's the level cap's gonna be?
They've already commented on this. If I remember it right, the ME3 level cap is 60. I believe you'll start at the same level you were by the end of ME2 - level 30 for most people.
I was pretty sure they already confirmed 60 level and you start with level 1

They said they were still balancing it at the time, specifically the amount of points you have at agiven level. They said you get 178 points at level 60 but they are not sure if that is the final number and therefore they probably haven't determined how many points you receive for importing yet either. I doubt they will let new players go through level 28-30 without receiving any points at all like in ME2.

Don't you think guys that if We will import our shep from Me1 to ME2 and then to ME3, and what I mean by this is that we gonna be over powered?
I'm pretty sure ME combat scales according to your level.

"Music makes the scene" as they say, so just listening to the soundtrack would be as much of a spoiler as watching the scene it's in.jcraft wrote...
Can someone ask devs when we gonna hear some actual ME3 music? Since short example of Mansell's work on last E3 we don't got anything new, just pieces of ME2 soundtrack in all ME3 related videos.

If anyone asks, note that the entire Gears/Halo/L4D series, Call of Duty MW2/BlackOps/MW3, Unreal Tournament 3, Rage, Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, and Portal 2 have split-screen co-op... basically the biggest shooters out there... so why not Mass Effect?

Any word on split screen co-op (like why they didn't include it if it's not there?).

I think in the OXM magazine, it says there is no split screen

In contrast to the spoilerfest that was ME2's marketing, this info drought is a bloody godsend.

This. I can live without the spoilers. Have other things to entertain me until March too.

Oh, I know. Just a bit disappointed how "spoiler!" claim is used as universal answer. "Won't show something from soundtrack because it's spoiler" is a bit too much, no?Vertigo_1 wrote...

And what's not spoiler that will be shown "soon" - as soon as Vanguard info of Vega's VA.
Ahem, I unusually strongly complain while this words definitely won't change anything. Guess it's too late here. Good night, everyone.

Battlefield 3, however, does not. Its co-op is online only. It is also an EA game, which, while not really proving anything, does make it theoretically closer to ME3 from development/logistical point of view than any of the games you listed. Heck, Bioware even had the DICE sound team show them a few tricks iirc.
...that does not bode well for splitscreen, unfortunately.

It doesn't bode anything. So they're both owned by EA. So what? They're completely different studios with completely different people. Obviously, they don't develop things the same way. If they did, then their games wouldn't be so different. Just to reinforce that:

Just to clarify, DICE aren't working on ME3 audio. We had some chats with them about how they approach their weapon audio design and we've done some asset and knowledge sharing. They've been super helpful and are great guys, but it's inaccurate to state that they're working on the audio content in any way.
We make incredibl[y] different games and our discussions really highlighted those differences. However, it's been really interesting speaking to different studios to see how they approach combat audio and we've already done considerable work to make the game sound much betterI'm super excited about how the end result will sound!
Thanks!

I understand that, and let me amend my statement:
All games mentioned by the guy I quoted are unrelated to Mass Effect in almost every way. Therefore his assumption is not supported by anything. Mine, while still an assumption, at least provides a more likely scenario. My point was that while EA studios are independent, they are known to work closely with one another at times. Furthermore, we are specifically talking about multiplayer, which I firmly believe the publisher has far more interest (and thus sway) in than single player. I'm NOT saying splitscreen won't be there. But based on experience with other EA games, I have my doubts as to whether it will be.
...I'm fairly certain I could have made that entire point in way feweer words too...

Dialogue is one of the last things put in place in a game. This is the case for 95% of all games with voice acting.Sgt Stryker wrote...
