It's from The Art of Mass Effect Universae by Dark Horse (will be released in February I think). They previewed some pages at NYCC. Here are two others:

edit: the top left  concept art of Kaidan, do you think it's a light armour or his suit on the Normandy?

Yeah I'd like to see some mocre and clearer pictures (and prefereably in-game footage).  But from what these show, I'm hopeful that in combat, at least, Ash won't be reduced to Mass Effect Barbie.

I think it's a representative suit-armor combo for official purpouses (like the trial), but other people think it's just alternate unused armor concept. We don't know anything for sure

But that guy is obviously more complex, how can anyone that has a great physique have a nice personality and good backgroud, I mean, this is the Military, it's quiet obvious there is no big, muscular guys in the Military. . . .
