This is what I don't get: why was this information even in the beta to begin with???? This is essentially a finished demo kit. It should be obvious to all of us that these files or whatever shouldn't have been in there unless PUT in there by someone.

If I were Casey, I'd be pissed.

Why the hell is it easier to make the entire game, and unlock a section for a demo? I am literally baffled by this! A clever hacker could get any game months ahead of time if certain parts were well developed. What if they hacked into the 2012 beta??? Would they get the entire game, or as much of it as is finished?

Anyway same thing happened when DA2 demo came out...people hacked that and found spoilers from the main game.

I think they don't have time to clean everything up, or perhaps don't expect people to go snooping around like that?

I'm sure they do expect it, but not to happen in circumstances like this: pre-release, where there was a very brief window of time to work in, and the additional obstacle of having to yank the demo off the 360 within that window.  Not to mention figuring out whatever format changes they've introduced to the TLK file this time around so quickly.

Yeah....I imagine every writer and other staff is going to be probably be pretty pissed when they get back to work on Monday and learn pretty much every beta story detail was spoiled 4 months before the actual release. Even if it's beta, I imagine a good bit of it was still probably used. We'll have to wait and see though.

Ugh, its gonna be a long 4 months then. Think ill just bookmark this thread and keep my info restricted to the tweets. If any spoiler then show up, Ill blame vertigo and hunt him down.

Perhaps if Bioware gave us something solid like a trailer or even just a little clear "non-leaked' information to quench the worst of people's irrationality...
Hudson certainly doesn't sound pleased atm.

I'm not supries that Casey Hudson is pissed off. Hell I'd be pissed off as well if I were him. ME3 beta leak (stuff in game may change!) because of micro$oft. Not by Bioware's fault.
