I can not imagine the stress he must be under at the moment. If these spoilers turn out as truthful, Then tension between Bioware and Microsoft would be at an all time high. I don't know what the hell happened there, but I doubt that the next four months are going to be at all easy.

They should just pick up the pieces and move on, they shouldent though by any means ignore it and hope it will go away, i predict the next official thing from bioware sadly will be the demo news, maybe even that the demo is cancelled - nothing about this "leak" which would make it worse imo.

The leak was info taken from the beta files. And there are end-game spoilers to be found there...

I feel really bad for the Bioware team. Even if the story leak is outdated, they put a lot of hard work into trying to make ME3 a great game. Trying to keep things under wrap without giving too much away must have been incredibly hard. Now some people have gone and ruined a lot of the game for others. (I'm sure not everything in the leak was outdated.) They must feel like their hard work was all for naught. 

I, myself, am staying away from the story stuff. The demo leak wasn't too bad because we were getting it in a few months anyway. I'm more concerned about which threads I can now safely traverse, and I'm hoping this thread will still be alright.

@Vertigo: People must be tweeting all kinds of spoilers. Are you going to still post every tweet regardless, or will you pick and choose the tweets to report?

Uhm, guys this thread is safe right? I've seen some beta videos but I have zero interest in seeing anything beyond the earth level, good thing Skyrim is coming out to keep me busy, i doubt I'll roam the forums much till March.

on the up side the beta itself is more or less not really much of a spoiler as it covered " in a incomplete still a lot of things missing, entire chunks of dialog options missing ( which is again obvious by the way conversations didn't flow right and things poped ) etc etc it basically just covered what is already known and nothing really story impacted at all....

basically it shows " what would be a tutorial-ish like opening" like the Cerberus base in the opening of 2 ( AFTER the base is under attack and shep wakes up)

second half of the beta is the same " save the female krogan-fight the atlas" bit that Bioware has been throwing out for months now "

the script leak is the one to really avoid.

again it was stated that in both cases that things are incomplete or outdated and quite inaccurate for things as they are " NOW" but the garbled mess of half baked, incomplete and potentially different script has enough to still put the basic ideas together .

I seem to recall our a lot of game files from ME2 being found recently, mostly text and early dialogue. One of the things I saw was the early form of Zaeed's recruitment mission, in which you had to go and steal one million credits from a crime lord to pay his fee. That never went as far as getting dialogue recorded, and it was still in the game files when ME2 was released. So I wouldn't be too concerned about this leak. A lot will be accurate, but there's bound to still be changes form what has been found.

I'm still on the fence about finding the spoilers. I might look for them and read through them, and I might not. But if I run into spoilers on here, oh well. I'll live. And I'm going to buy ME3 regardless. I've invested way too much time on ME1 & 2 to do otherwise.

There's only so much profane floweriness a man in his position can get away with on public channels like twitter, so he's doing what I'd do in his shoes and going the "eloquence over ragequitting" route. Because he has to. But he's definitely not at all happy, regardless of how true the leak proves to be. It's a devastating blow to the (quite reasonable) tradition of not having major events spoiled, truly or seemingly, before a product is released. It flies in the face of respect toward the writers that have dedicated much of their lives to this tale.
