Unveiling/Confirming 2 characters that have already had that happen seems odd to do don't you think? We already have 5 confirmed, Liara, Garrus, Tali, Ash and Kaiden. Granted theres no information past that point so it would be nice but I'm hoping me meant literal 'heres squads we haven't confirmed yet but now we are'.

If it is, 2 more would put the squad base up to 6 unless there's more then 2. I'm hoping for Jack just cause my other Shep wants him some more Jack.

ME2 spoiled way too many character reveals in my opinion; I just want (at least until after E3) to keep as many squadmates as possible a surprise.

"@_Vertigo_1 squad member powers in me3 will be fully customizable just like Shepard's powers"

Meaning yes squadmates powers evolve multiple times like Shepard's can in ME3

Awesome news. Hopefully this allows each character to not only play/feel more unique, but remove the stigma that squadmates are simply "hired guns" with no variety.

Ha!

They are making me love this game so much that I'm starting to be afraid of disappointment >.<

@-Skorpious-: I think ME2 spoiled to many characters in that they where 'introducing' a lot of new ones and basically just revealed all of it. When the game was built off you having no idea prior so they where all built as big Oh! stuff. Jack, for instance was designed to make you think its a dude and it ends up being a half-naked bald-chick (they...backed up on and gave leather straps). Garrus was meant to be a big surprise.

So for instance when I say I hope they reveal others (such as jack) I just mean that in its most basic. Let us know 'yeah jacks a main squad mate'. I don't want a big reveal trailer that'll spoil any major plot points or anything just a confirmation. I mean we're not spoiled knowing the original ME1 squads back, we knew that was happening before ME2 was even shipped.

In general though I really hope they avoid any major spoilers unlike ME2. Knowing who Garrus was before I ever played the game was a bit of a bummer but I woulda kinda figured it out before I got there anyways heh. But just cause you personally figure something out doesn't mean you can be 100% sure till the reveal hits. So theres still that fun that was missed.

Hyea people, some or most of you may already be aware of this, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. David Silverman (@dsilvermanea) has been asking the fans many questions, and answering some of theirs. Among other things,

"Who else wants to see a #FemShep trailer in #ME3? Now's your chance to speak up."

and later,

"Keep your #FemShep requests coming and I'll see what we can do. #ME3"

FemShep thread is all over it already, but the more the merrier!

I hope it will be clear what Shep will do whenever you perform an interrupt (for example via certain icons). I don't want my MaleShep to weep like a woman at whatever occasion - he's just too manly :P

Though I must add that I'm glad things like laughing and weeping are interrupts and not auto-reactions. This way, one can shape his/her Shep a bit more character-wise (f.e. is your Shep the emotional type or more of a hard-ass? Does he/she fancy a joke? etc...).

Interesting. A lot of people seem to think that "manly" = not showing emotion. In this case, the perfect man is a robot. We know that we're going to see the deaths of millions, and it's unlikely that a true man would cry at that? How would you feel about having to sacrifice the entire Asari species to save the galaxy? Would THAT bring a tear to your manly eye?:P

I'm only talking about my Shep. He's too tough to cry. But as I said, I'm glad there's the option to weep by performing an interrupt. It's nice to have more choice in shaping your character and a lot of people will no doubt want Shep to show a bit more emotion at certain occasions.

I love this thread.

Long hair sounds interesting, and I'd heard about evolving powers for all squaddies, that's fantastic - can't wait.

Seems like there are still some rumblings about that breaking hearts scene and who dies, etc, etc... Maybe all those Joker LI fanatics will get their wish, only to leave Joker a limp, broken pelvis, grinning corpse - death by snu snu. lol

EDIT: As for the interrupts, knowing what the interrupt is will help - I don't want to accidentally kiss liara again.

Hopefully they fix the cut scenes so that it happens in a more planned fashion, not in the middle of someone's sentence. I realize it's supposed to be an 'interrupt', I just hope they smooth it out a little.

If they do emotional icons I hope they aren't quick flash buttons like we got all of ME2 like for a crying scene maybe their conversation is really intense really hurting and as this conversation unfolds the player is suppose to feel upset as well the icon shows up but not all neon sign flashy perhapse use the Dpad on controllers? like ^= sad >= scream at them you could map all directions to mean something to cover what the players should/could be feeling at this moment in time. They have from where the writer intends emotion to hit the players till a few seconds after the conversation stops between the two characters to hit any one of the Dpad directions if they want emotions expressed if not the main convo wheel pops up.

The player would have that time to put where they think this emotion should go into sense one person may cry or yell sooner then another. If the emotion is made the character speaking may change what they were saying maybe they were talking about the death caused by sheps bad decision and she starts crying so the person goes hey wait and starts trying to either back peddle on what they said that hurt her or they try to smooth things out better. If player has no emotion then the convo still goes on talking about all the death and destruction until the convo naturally ends.

Speaking of being able to initiate crying would anyone love the idea of shep just bursting into tears on the witness stand when they're being aggressively prosecuted so then then we get media news that the prosecution just lost points with everyone because they made shep cry? Shep can always later say they faked it for just that effect.

I would also like to be able to crack jokes regardless of my alignment with my bros and my LI w/o being a jerk or the too many jokes and they start to hate you either maybe use the left middle of the wheel for jokes and just title it joke and the person they're talking to will either respond happily or be upset shep choose the wrong moment to lay one on them.

Also no more para/ren flashy interrupts I hate neon signs in the middle of my scenes. I think they should just be one interrupt button and only use it where shep can gain tactical advantage like we did when we shot the mech when rescuing Arch Angel, when shep is offended by someone else like he was with the Krogan headbut moment, or life threatening situations like the Kensen grenade or the SB hostage those where great moments to use interrupts all other times in game where unneeded or rude.

I really did like how that interrupt with Kensen was handled when I see people pulling guns or grenades out on me I want to shoot first and ask questions later. I however didn't like all the shut up now interrupts we got with the chatty Krogan, both Mordin interrupts, and others.

I love interupts, but how did you accidently kiss Liara?   I'm sure its during Lotsb, but did you not romance her in one?

A retweet from Casey on Geoff
"The EA E3 press conference will include first live demos of BATTLEFIELD 3, MASS EFFECT 3, SSX, NEED FOR SPEED: THE RUN, FIFA and more."

I'm not sure if that means we get 5 seperate demos of ME3 (AWESOME if true) or not.

I did, I did... but I had moved on to fulfill the xenophiliac in me with Garrus. And it was a paragon interrupt! Terrible. Then to make things even worse my FemShep was all hot for Liara afterwards.

And then of course i had to give in to the sex just so I could see it, after which I reloaded and told her to get off my love boat.

Haha, vicious. He's evil: I like him.

I'm completely drawn into the entire ME3-E3 excitement, which is ridiculous, because all I want is story spoilers, at least the very tiny ones, and that's precisely the one thing I know I'm not going to get. But it's hard not to get excited with the tweets like these.

As for the ammo regen, wasn't that already the case in ME2? I mean, it doesnt solve the issue of running out of ammo during a mission.
