I'd probably have to say Liara, simply due to the role she has in the series. I think she'd make the most sense, narrative-wise.

Tali for me but for script/story wise I would see Liara as being the it girl choice. She seems the most natural between her and Ash.

Though I didn't like Liara of the ME1, and still find many characters and romances to be more satisfying, I have to vote for her simply beacause it can satisfy both Sheps

My answer too, Ashley or VS if they both count. Granted I like Jack a whole lot as well (I think she's adorable) but ultimatley if I really could only pick one, it would be Ash.
Ash was my first pick in Mass Effect 1 and was actually my ONLY pick in Mass Effect 1 and for all but one of my playthroughs I stayed faithful to her, hoping for her return.
After all, I've waited this long so I'm fairly certain that she's my 'the one'. And if I could really only pick one, she would be it.
