If we had been under such tough constraints on #ME3 that we supported only one love interest character, who would you choose?

A tweet from Casey abt. an hour ago. Interesting question.
"A colleague and I once debated: great games evoke emotions from the player, but are some off the table - like rejection or jealousy?"
Indeed! This pleases me greatly.Clara Shepard wrote...

"Just played the red-haired FemShep and met Kaidan. It's an interesting stage when we can start slicing through different paths in each play."I like Casey again!! Excuse me while I squee.
No emotion is off the table, in my opinion. What I don't like to see, however, are "gotcha!" moments like those described here by David Gaider. I don't mean that the game shouldn't have surprises, that actions shouldn't have consequences beyond what the player can immediately foresee. That would be boring. I do believe that there needs to be some clue or foreshadowing, which can then be used or played with to evoke a range of emotions when a storyline reaches its climax.rapscallioness wrote...

Tell that to the colonists I saved from the Collectors.

What would Shepard possibly have to be sorry about? Stopping the Collectors from abducting colonists? Yeah, bad move on his part.IsaacShep wrote...

And what would have you said being Kaidan and seeing everything Cerberus did in ME1?Cthulhu42 wrote...

What Tali and Garrus did. They saw everything Cerberus did too, and that didn't stop them from sticking by Shepard.IsaacShep wrote...

Nevermind what that fact alone tells us about them, for VS the Cerberus thing is much more important and closer issue. They're not only humans themselves, they're in the Alliance.Cthulhu42 wrote...
