If we had been under such tough constraints on #ME3 that we supported only one love interest character, who would you choose?

A tweet from Casey abt. an hour ago. Interesting question.

"A colleague and I once debated: great games evoke emotions from the player, but are some off the table - like rejection or jealousy?"

"Checking stuff in files. Have to say, it's indecently fun to listen to @Mark_Meer and @jhaletweets' lines, one right after the other. :D"

A great question. I'd say no; players experiencing the entire range of emotions is just more evidence of an excellent story.

"Just played the red-haired FemShep and met Kaidan. It's an interesting stage when we can start slicing through different paths in each play."

Unnecessary mention of Kaidan? :o I like Casey again!! Excuse me while I squee.

Indeed! This pleases me greatly.:wizard:

EDIT: Also, Casey has commented further on Kaidan!

Kristine Steimer said: @CaseyDHudson Hah! I've never felt more rejected in my life than during the Horizon scene in ME2.

Casey replied: @steimer You should mention that to Kaidan when you see him next.

No emotion is off the table, in my opinion.  What I don't like to see, however, are "gotcha!" moments like those described here by David Gaider. I don't mean that the game shouldn't have surprises, that actions shouldn't have consequences beyond what the player can immediately foresee. That would be boring. I do believe that there needs to be some clue or foreshadowing, which can then be used or played with to evoke a range of emotions when a storyline reaches its climax.

How about "Yo Kaidan, looks like Cerberus is now hunting me and working with the Reapers... It kinda seems like you've been right all along whoopsie! I'm sorry? :D"

Ah ah ah! We don't know if Cerberus is now working with the Reapers or not. Besides, Alenko seemed to be implying that Cerberus was trying to abduct humans, and was using Shepard as a clean up guy. An interesting idea...but not one that I buy.

You know what, when I played today, and when I met Kaidan, I was wondering wouldn't be better to leave both Kaidan and Ash on Vermire to die?
Just saying, please I don't mean to start a war here.

Tell that to the thousands of people Cerberus will no doubt kill in ME3.

What would Shepard possibly have to be sorry about? Stopping the Collectors from abducting colonists? Yeah, bad move on his part.

And what would Kaidan have to be sorry about? For saying Cerberus can't be trusted which is the truth?

Unless they number in the millions it would have taken to build the T--Reaper, it still was worth it. I just hope the reason for Cerberus joining the enemy makes some sense.

For saying things like "You've turned your back on everything we stood for" and for not trusting Shepard.

Why cant people just accept that we ( Shephards ) had crappy dialogue that scene and that the VS had a crappy cameo.

For starters I would have been more concerned with the part of Shepard being dead and resurrected/reconstructed than having a fit the moment I mentioned Cerberus. Not that I blame him much. The writing of that moment was (intentionally?) pathetic.

OK when I watched the leaked build, I saw the scene inside that Alliance building where Shepard was being hold and after Vega coming to him and walking him to Anderson, She saw Ash and they couldn't talk properly cause Anderson was in hurry to get to that meeting and shortly Shepard and Anderson walked away, Vegas ask's Ash did she knew Shepard and She's say's that she used too? So why she would say that she "used" know him?

What Tali and Garrus did. They saw everything Cerberus did too, and that didn't stop them from sticking by Shepard.

Nevermind what that fact alone tells us about them, for VS the Cerberus thing is much more important and closer issue. They're not only humans themselves, they're in the Alliance.

Yeah an dCerberus used to bee Alliance black ops group:bandit:.
And this really bugs me, how the hell VS even could say that Shepard work's with Cerberus?
I bet they didn't saw **** hiding behind those crates, also I think Shepard should've had better dialog options on Horizon to counter or agree with Vs.
