@NzesiNyoka Those are all clothing concepts. Ashley has full armor and helmet similar to Shepard's, which I don't think have been shown yet.

Ah, good. Although the continued inclusion of a bewb window in heavy armour would lead to much pleasure to the 30% of my nerve endings devoted to getting off on trolling, I'll probably enjoy ME3 more if I don't have to rub my face and sigh every time poor lil Ash prances her way onscreen.

So it's confirmed for the 100th time that Ashley has armor in ME3...
.
I wonder how much time it will be untill people forget this and start complaning again that Ashley doesn't have amor in ME3.

I knew it. And in all honesty, I hope those clothing concepts make it into the game as multiple casual SR2 outfits.

Well, the new arguement WILL be that "like Shepard's armor" =/= an actual full set. People on this forum can be pretty retarded.

I think the fact that Miranda could be used from the very start of the game, as well as her usefulness in combat, may have been bigger factors on the amount she was used than popularity.

I dare you to post that in the Miranda thread ( 800+ pages and counting ). While I do agree that not everyone likes her believe it or not she does have a very large fan base.

I didn't say that she didn't have a large fanbase (I acknowledge that she does); just that when a character is available from the beginning of the game, you have more opportunities to use them, and thus they are more likely to get more overall use. For instance, lots of people like Legion, but I'm fairly sure that he is the least-used squadmate.

That's severely uncool. The rest of us have Tali forced upon us because of a vocal sub-group of the community.

While I would normally be quick to share the same sentiment, you do remember we can kill her in ME2 and have a replacement(most likely) correct?

Nope. Tali/Garrus killed in ME2 = less squadmates in ME3.

Same goes for every other squadmate. You kill them, you miss out on their content. Simple as that.

As everyone can die on the Suicide mission, I"m certain some of the more important characters have placeholders for their content. While I'm almost certain people like Thane and Garrus won't(of course I could be wrong), Important characters like Mordin and Tali would. While it may not be the same mount of personal meaning in the missions, I'm sure there would be enough to get the overall deal. Basically, noo bells and whistles, just what you need to get by.

I had to use Jacob on Freedom's Progress, Mordin's recruitment, and his loyalty mission. Legion only got used for his loyalty mission, because by the time you recruit him, there's nothing left to do. Unless you want to kill your crew, I think you pretty much have to use Jacob more often (unfortunate as that may be).

You can still recruit him before Tali´s LM and take him to the Migrant Fleet without the crew dying. It is a bit anticlimatic how little reaction there is once you get past the doors, but some of the lines with the admirals are interesting.

I liked jacob. I find him to be far more useful than Legion. He has good abilities - but once he gets barrier he sucks.

I can never bring myself to wait that long before doing that mission, though. Especially as her loyalty power is quite useful, and I prefer to have it unlocked earlier.

What I'm curious about is how will squad armor customization work. We've heard promises there is deep squad armor customization, but we've seen absolutely nothing of that, not even in the leaks. The game is now only 100 days away, 3 months. It ain't "too realy" for anything anymore, all systems & mechanics are definitely ready to be shown so I really hope BioWare will show armor customization in ME3 soon, both for Shep & squadmates. Also, vehicle/planet exploration & new mining system, if they're in the game.

I would love:O to see this in next BW Pulse episode, but sadly:crying: that won't happen as probably next episode is going to be about something boring:blush:.

That's a problem I noticed with all the characters with a defensive power (Jacob, Legion and Grunt for the Biotic, Tech and Combat version respectively): they tend to spam it whenever possible if left to their own devices, causing what I like to call CCLS (Cronic Cooldown Loop Syndrome)...
I'm sure this won't happen again in ME3 tough, as the devs appear to have spent a lot of time in polishing the new combat AI... :P

The issue with Jacob is that even if you turn off squadmate power usage, he still spams Barrier, and that thing has a beast of a cooldown.

When I played the Sur'Kesh demo, I noticed that Liara did something similar by spamming her Lift Orb on the same guys, even if they're already affected by it. And with her limited supplies of those orbs, it goes as well as one would expect.

Oh dear... I can imagine... :(
Well, they may have fixed it in the meantime...
Naivete much? Maybe, maybe not, but I try to keep my hopes up... :P

... Seems to be some misunderstanding here. You know I never said she was a permanent squadmate, right? Just that she was one at some point (or maybe some points) in ME3. right? And you shouldn't get all worked up about things you don't fully understand yet, right?

Right.

...right.

Well guys, I think we can pretty much shut down the internet. And politics, for that matter.

Have you tried sending a tweet about Miranda? Who knows, you might get an answer, unless they deem it to be a story spoiler, of course.

Others have tried a dozen times before--both on Miranda and other characters. The question usually either remained unanswered or was deemed a story spoiler.

All I want to know is whether or not we'll get another edition of "Sci vs Fi" Mass Effect episode like we did with the first two games. That would be great and would make all this waiting for new material to be shown well worth it.Posted Image
