yeah so I am not surprised Ash fans got a answer hell us ME 2 fans can not get a freaking answer on Miranda or any other ME 2 squad mate . all the pathetic cry baby ash fans have to is whine and they get answers . wow video game developers have no creative balls to make games as they see fit

Have you tried sending a tweet about Miranda? Who knows, you might get an answer, unless they deem it to be a story spoiler, of course.

Others have tried a dozen times before--both on Miranda and other characters. The question usually either remained unanswered or was deemed a story spoiler.

Perhaps the way she looks is in itself a story spoiler?

Chris just posted this on the ME Marathon stream (I know, it aint twitter, sue me)

11:25 EviLChrisPriestly: Hmm.. should I reveal a minor Tali game secret? For a donation?

11:27 EviLChrisPriestly: Cool, but doesn't impact gameplay

11:29 EviLChrisPriestly: This really doesn't spoil ME3 at all. Casey would kill me

11:29 EviLChrisPriestly: Ok. Minor thing that I think is cool.

11:30 EviLChrisPriestly: Tali was not going to be a party character until the COmmunity (yes, including teh Talimancers) demanded her. She becmae a party member.

11:31 EviLChrisPriestly: I thought so. The COmmunity wanted it, so they got it. :)

11:32 EviLChrisPriestly: Well let me tell you about teh quarians. They... oh, hello Casey. *signoff*

LOL, love the guy :P

That's severely uncool. The rest of us have Tali forced upon us because of a vocal sub-group of the community.

Nothing stops you from killing her in ME2.

Did I just catch a professional writer making a spelling error?

I was going to point out the same thing, but I thought being a grammar socialist over a twitter post would be a bit facetious

"it's" should be "its". The apostrophe isn't supposed to be there.

Well as a former journalist I can say that even professional writers mess up from time to time.. especially with it's and its (among countless other things to be honest) .... the problem is the grammar here is back-asswards.

I.e. to use a posessive reference for a name: "That is David's bicycle" we use the apostrophe in the name david.

However, to say "it is" we use an apostrophe as write "it's"  .... but to use "i"t as a possessive we write "its" ... this is backwards from using possessive for a person... combine with the countless other grammatical & syntax rules it can often be misused when typed in a rush or casual form such as twitter.

I swear there was a day I was writing an article and had to stop and think for 10 seconds how to spell the word "apple" simply because my mind was so focused on solving another grammatical concern at the time in my paper.

Writer's deserve a little leeway sometimes .... besides, that's what copy-editors are paid for

I really interested to see how Vega turns out. There is so much negativity from people on the forums around him, but as Casey's own design, and as Mac Walters has pointed out in the challenge of writing for a very "base" character, it seems like it could fall either way--a very engaging, interesting, and well-rounded character, or a rather cliched and dull [soldier] character.

I actually haven't seen much bashing. It appears as though many nay-sayers have come around after the leak video.

This is a pointless discussion because people are allowed to mess up, even pros, but just of note:

The apostrophe usage for "its/it's" is backwards if you think of an apostrophe as indicating possession.  However, that's not what the apostrophe was originally for.  It comes from middle English where an apostrophe would indicate ommission.  Possession was indicated by adding an "es" to the end of nouns, so if something belonged to Commander Shepard it would be "Shepardes thing."  The apostrophe is technically indicating the ommission of that "e."  Of course, now that "e" is archaic so it is indicating the ommission of a letter that wouldn't be there anyway, but that's the evolution of language.  That's why people get confused for "they're/their/there."  If they thought of the apostrophe in terms of ommission and not possession, then they wouldn't think that "they're" is the possessive contraction, they would think, oh that means the "a" is missing so it's "they are."

English!!!!  Shakes fists at sky*

An apostrophe won't bother me as much as when someone's using "their" instead of "there" or "they're" because that's a misspelling of the whole word.

Their's nothing wrong with they're spelling. You just need to understand where there coming from, yo.

Yeah, I died a little on the inside writing that.

The problem here? The problem is everywhere, we put a k in the word nife for gods sakes, it should be nife! I before E except after .... bull. Meaningless bull. If we were an efficient society we would convert to the metric system and spell works ONLY the way we sound them out, no double ll or double nn like bannana, we don't need it and it only makes sense because it was hammered into us early on. Its rediculous.

Yeah I said it.

We have already shown screenshots of Tali as a party member, so that wasn't the news. The news was that she may not have been made a party member, but fan demand for her after ME2 definitely swayed the Devs into making it happen.

And people say BioWare doesn't listen to the fans.

So can femshep have her own animations now?
