Glad to hear about insanity. Currently debating whether to start with it or not.

Actually wait, can we start with insanity or do we need to unlock it?

I asked ;)

"Is it possible to start with Insanity mode from the start?"

"Yes, insanity is available from the start."

Yes! True ME experience from the start, great to hear.

I wonder if they will ever explain the huge plot hole in how a small terrorist organization of 150 that is devastated by losses (Overlord has 50 corpses) and departures (Project Lazarus, the largest of the 3 cells, has gone over to Shepard's side or died) suddenly becomes a huge army over the course of a few months. Especially since supposedly most of Cerberus' resources are tied up in rebuilding Shepard and the Normandy.

I really hated being forced to work for Cerberus in ME2, but fighting a giant army of Cerberus troops in ME3 might turn out to be even more of a wallbanger.

^ What holes?

http://masseffect.wi...m/wiki/Cerberus

Financing

Cerberus has wealthy sympathizers within the Alliance military-industrial complex, who contribute credits and resources to Cerberus, and trust the Illusive Man to make the right decisions. Cerberus also owns several front corporations which further fund and support their operations. Spending trends indicate that Cerberus has a reliable income running up to several billion credits per year.

Why shouldnt they be able to get contractors for that amount of cash? You think all the soldiers that the US has stationed overseas are directly on the payroll of the US Army?

Cerberus has more than 3 cells. You're thinking of Cerberus' branches, of which there are 3: Military, Political, and Scientific. Also, the "150 Operatives" figure EDI gives may only account for high-ranking Cerberus members like Miranda, Jacob, Archer, and this Ashe character. It may not account for every single lackey that carries a gun, turns a wrench, or cleans test tubes for Cerberus.

In any case, we still don't know just how big this new army is. Even if they number into the thousands or tens of thousands, that would still be quite small on a galactic scale.

I believe what he is trying to say is how did cerberus come back from total devastation, to having a huge private army in a matter of months.

Its a legitimate question, something I hope is answered to satisfaction in ME3.

As someone who has read the script, I will say that that question is indeed addressed in Mass Effect 3.

Wasn't that info on Cerberus based on EDI who admitted that even when unlocked she didn't quite know the full strength of Cerberus' resources and assets?

Also in a world of trillions, filled with mecenaries (who can easily be brainwashed) and racist humans, I doubt it will take more than 2-3 months to mobilize a private army. And who's to say that TIM hasn't been preparing this since hearing of the Reapers?

^ NDA. Answer can't do you no good. He needs to ignore it or deny it. Even if he just doesn't deny it, he is essentialy confirming it.

Naaaaaah, thats waay too obvious. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png

And Beattie would only sign an NDA if he has an agreement with Bioware to sign an NDA. So if he doesnt answer or doesnt deny, he is in. If he says he is not in, he is not in. The logic is flawless.

Part of the transcript (starting 2:15):

(ignore the typos please)

What was it like voicing the romance scenes for me1, me3. ehm...this is from Stacey. And how do you feel about the way Kaiden developed? You know, honestly I loved doing the romance scenes. And just you wait, on the romance scenes for me3. ...Yikes..it gets steamy.

Ehm...yeah, it was FUN. I mean you know. Its now like im there with anyone. Im all alone in a room with a microphone and david on the other side of the glass with techinicolor. But the writing has been so wonderful. And it really...the character...he is such eh.. Kaiden is a good man. You know. He really cares about doing the right thing. He really is honorable. And he really has very deep feelings in all sorts...but certainly his affections run deep as well. so, thats really fun...really fun. and i cant wait for you to see what weve done for you.

Wow! Guess Ill have to start another session of ME 1 with femshep and stay loyal in 2. :)
