He (who?) was moved to the main game I believe.  The super secret surprise character and mission are possibly now someone else.

So spoilery.  Fixed for great justice.

There might also be some bandwidth issues.

There can't be.  See that hex string when you create a face in the CC? That is all you would ever need to transfer over the net; all other assets are local and static.  And you only need to transfer that string once at the start of the match.

Don't worry - he's indoctrinated and you can shoot him / her / it early on bringing that part of the story to a close.*

Utter bull**** in fact.  "he" is a DLC character, but we've known since the summer and bioware's "accidental" Collecters Edition promo.

Crunchtime!
They are nearing the end and have to make sure everything works well before handing it off to QA for testing (considering VO recording ended yesterday I'm sure they have to work that into the game too)

March feels like it's so far away, but I'm sure Bioware is feeling the pressure. Don't they have to submit the game for it to go gold like a month or so ahead of time?

Yes, they do, so that the manufacturer(s) can get it on discs, etc.

Yeah, more than often games go gold four weeks prior to launch. No wonder they're working so hard on ME3 lately; they only have the rest of December and January.

Dunno if this was asked before, but was there any information on whether some of the N7 mission outcomes would carry over into the ME3? Like the Turian Insignias and the Asari Writings from ME1?

Well I would correct it, but a bunch of you tools have quoted me. Good job. I have been very good about hiding spoilers, and I still didn't really spoil anything.

Its a possibility. BW mentioned they were pulling out more variables from a players' playthrough from both games into me3 than they had in the past. I sure as heck hope so, if not - oh well. I did 100% of both me1 and 2 XP *completionist* I REGRET NOTHING!

I tried doing some searches on if there was anything mentioned about N7 results being transferred over but didn't find anything so far. :pinched:

I didn't complete the Asari Writings on my canon playthrough and wondering if I should go back and replay ME1 if its going to make a difference when 3 rolls around.

Doing so will probably get you an extra dialogue option at some point. Like how getting the Geth data for Tali in ME1 just means you can bring it up in ME2 when you meet her, but otherwise has no effect on the game.

Exactly. You have to buy outdated hardware every six years. :P

I know I shouldn't join in the console wars, especially because I'm both a PC and console gamer. Sorry, Chris!

Which is usually a sign that something ain't goint right. If tha game ain't rushed, it should go gold about a month prior the release. I don't think ME3 will be rushed at all.
