*semi spoiler warning. Nothing even remotely major but i'm warning you anyways.*

Great art concepts, love all of them save for Ashley who is still making me shake my head. Otherwise I am really surprised that darkhorse did so well with these. Going from picture to picture...

1. Not touching ashley, I don't want to derail the thread.

2. Kaiden looks great. Although I still wonder why he is bulking up so much while ashley is stripping down, (Argh sorry :innocent:officer, but since the reaper invasion its all hands on deck.

3. Vega looks like a football star here for some reason (probably the war paint) but I like it. It doesn't do much to differentiate him from any other soldier but maybe that's the point. I have to admit I didn't think much of him to begin with, but now that we know he is shep's "guardian" of sorts he is growing on me.

4. Anderson looks great! Exactly like a shipbound commanding officer who found himself in the midst of a ground war. I think they did a very good job here. Nothing I can really add except that it will be great to see anderson again outside the politcol office. (even if he did effectively abandon humanity the council seat I fought damn hard for him to take.)

5. Not much to say about garrus. Looks great, like he went up in rank or something (I have not read any of the descriptions yet). Otherwise same old awesome garrus.

6. Also approve of liara's look. She went and gained some scale armor while  I wasn't looking, officially making the biotic scientist more heavily armored than a certain someone. Its a great outfit that highlights her acknowledged role from the past games (a doctor, an archeologist or similar role) yet gives her a combat ready look. A pleasant suprise honestly, I figured they would keep her in soft clothes because she was a master biotic with barrier.

Overall I like it. I'm honestly pleasantly surprised with dark horse.

Okay, bringing back the Ashley thing, but the BSN isn't the only place where people are getting worked up over the Ash/Kaidan redesigns.

The fine folks of tumblr are getting all miffed, too. Devs, as venomous as it is, please read.

And then reveal the armor.

Sadly, corporate red tape will stop that from happening Cheez.  By all means, have at them, just understand that it is unlikely that the organization will change its timetable until it is too late to realize that it has generated negative attention with an information vacuum.

IMO, it is sexism if she is unable to fight in the galactic war because she is somehow not able because boobs.

It is not sexism if she is fighting in Barbarella gear, that's objectification, and a whole different ball of wax.

There is nothing wrong with women embracing themselves and their shape, there is everything wrong with a character being given a design soley to increase sex appeal, but it's still not sexism.

Just saying, otherwise making Kaidan beefier and scruffier is also sexism in the other direction, and it's not.

Remember all the complaints about Bioware supposedly giving in to the loud mouth complainers and being weak by doing what the fans want? Yeah not gonna happen anytime soon lol. Your best bet is to try simple reverse psychology.

I don't know. It was random when Major Kusanagi started...covering up her self with more clothes in GITS for no apparent reason but wasn't character massacre.

Hey it's the internet, people are stupid. 

Actually most are not willing to believe anything until seeing the armor. While understandable they will have to wait another month to see more videos.

Showing Ashley in armor doesn't exactly seem like something that every single fan must have or really want.

Um, you shouldn't assume that just because someone would vote "Yes" on the "See Ash in armor" question that they'd also demand to see Ash in armor.  I'd vote for seeing that, but I don't care nearly enough for it qualify as a demand.  Mostly, at this point, I wish they would just so everyone else would STFU about it already.
