Links required.

Considering how mean you've been to me for the last few months, I don't really think you deserves that.

May I have a link then? As another representative of "obsessed with heavy armour"?

Yeah... count me in too. I liked to see some links.

Link failure. Went through several pages and saw things about Krogan Heavy armour, something about Ashely who lives in Pennysylvia and other totally unrelated things. No mention of TV tropes.

Then you obviously can't read....On the first page alone there are multiple threads on this site, GameFAQs, and a link to TVtropes. If you would then venture so far as to actually click on those links...you would read that there are a sizable chunk of people out there who laugh at those so obsessed with physically seeing ashley in armor, among other things.

But this thread isn't the place for that, so I will cease and desist.

So I remember last week that some of the devs were tweeting about having some press in the studio. I want to know when we will hear from the press!

My apologies, script blocker redirected link to search instead and that didn't gave me the same results as your links (I use Mozilla custom google search).

Still what I read from those links:
"So, is Ashley back in Heavy Armor like she deserves? Or is she still being oversexualised in that catsuit while Kaiden gets to wear Heavy Armor now."

Or
"On Ashley's side, upper left is the combat outfit. I do realize that. Still seems lighter and more form fitting than Kaidan's armour... even though Ashley is supposed to be a soldier and Kaidan a sentinel."

and responses for those that are similar back on forth ball game as here don't prove anyone on BioWare boards being made fun of. Infact your link doesn't seem to prove anything else that Asleys's outfit is being discussed on other forums as well (that I find a bit surprising though, didn't thought so many people would care).

Then, people who post here can post on other forums as well and perhaps some butthurt teenager venting if s/he has felt like losing an argument on these forums.

I read the TV tropes article you mentioned... And they don't even agree on the issue, I have to say despite my bias on the issue the first part of the explanation seems out of date, made back when there was little to no info. (not to mention suffering a of bias against the argument without providing all the facts)

"A mockery of some of the Fan Dumb's
criticism of Ashley's ME3 outfit, which consists of a Spectre uniform
similar to the one Tela Vasir wore in LotSB, rather than the Phoenix
armor she's worn in the last two games. Word Of God
has said that that's just her casual outfit and she'll wear regular
armor in gameplay.

Actually the outfit looks nowhere near like vasir's,
while the argument involved more than the armor and included changes to
Ashley's face of all things, and the current word of god is that it was
one of her many concept outfits, with the currently revealed outfit
specifically designed to giver her "sex appeal" YMMV on that part."

Aside from this though I havn't seen anyone making fun of the issue, only arguments back and forth on both sides, and I have never even seen the meme on the tropes page used anywhere, and with the "any can edit" nature of tv tropes I have my doubts to its validity either way.

I don't know. It was random when Major Kusanagi started...covering up her self with more clothes in GITS for no apparent reason but wasn't character massacre.

Motoko kusanagi had a completely artificial body that could (and has) have her head stompled on by a mech several times her size, and take no noticable damage.

She was also created by an artist who hates drawing men and takes any chance he can get to draw sexy females in sexy situations, yet at the same time is capable of writing storylines that require a degree in... Well various topics to be able to understand it fully the first time through.

In all that Motoko's dress code makes sense. Especially when you consider she dresses for others not herself. (And in this case, "dressing" can include entirely knew bodies of various ages and looks.) Her changing outfits is not only in character, but a major facet.

Ashley? Ashley is not invincible, shields are unreliable, and the galaxy is in the middle of an apocoalyptic genocide of just about everything. Everyone else is bulking up in armor, including liara (who incredible strong biotics like barrier).

Why isn't ashley? Oh wait that's right I read the reasoning for her look on the description. Sex Appeal.

I know we have been told she will have armor but we havn't seen it yet, but I digress.

Protection isn't the main point people were getting at though it was part of it. What they didn't like was that Ashley was changing outfits and it was seen as possibly changing her character. I mentioned in example where it doesn't really mean a change in character at all its just a change. A temporary one at that.

Motoko's outfit pretty much represented her image effectively for that first season. While I was glad with the change I know there were many who disagreed with it.

I have no problem with it since she is supposed to have armor in the game. Her uniform is already partially armored so anymore should at least be a full medium combat suit.

Take it his missions revolve around rachni?  I wonder if the little kamikaze rachni workers wil return...

Anyways, I hope we get to see what the press did relatively soon.  Was hoping by the end of this week, beginning of next, so we will have to wait and see.

Man I'd hate it for all those developers that have put in insane hours lately, then when the first reviews get in, they get burned for ME3 being too buggy. To be honest, I sometimes hate us gamers for not appreciating what they are doing and nag and moan about everything else... :?

Well I don't complain the same way for all kinds of bugs; the weird stuff that goes on during the cinematics don't bother me (hell, those real-time generated cinematics should be one nest of bugs), but when the game doesn't even works (like Rage on an ATi PC, 2 months without being able to at least lauch the game), that's just inacceptable.

Oh I don't hate the sound team, the cinematic team, or even the gameplay team. I'll just hate on the writers.

In fact I can forgive almost anything if only the story is excellent, cohesive, and non-linear. :P

As I understand it, triage means assessing a large group of injured people for severity, so you know who needs priority. So I guess bug triage means they're prioritising what they need to fix.

Bug Triage is just like triage in an ER. It's where you prioritize what you need to get done. A bug that doesn't allow the game to load should get priority over a bug that causes a texture to look slightly wonky.
A Bug Database is generally a system by which you record new bugs and track progress on known issues and their fixes. It's especially useful in allocating resources.  If you have multiple instances of a bug reported, it might require more attention (i.e. go higher on the triage list, or have more tests run) verses a single bug that has only been reported once.  Some databases can also help you see trends, so that if you have lots of instances of bugs on one mission, or a perticular hardware configuration, your more likely to notice.
As to things being "slow" I read this as either the database itself is have issues, or that the bugs are taking a long time to fix.
