That's great news. I was terrified that they were going to reuse Mass Effect 2: Arrival music, as heard in the leaked beta. Quite exciting then!

I hate waiting for games I want to play
This one is supposed to be for Eden Prime. I think it's rather fan made theme too.

Very interesting. I'm getting the same vibes I had with Batman - Arkham City. The menu music from that game was equally epic and also had me pause and let it sink in for a moment with the speakers turned up to 11.

I hope it sounds more like Vigil and not like the stuff in ME2. The ME2 track was good too, but menu doesn't have to be epic..
You've missed the pattern. Both tracks are the piece of music most closely associated with each game's final stretch.

At last it sounds like we're getting a respectable atmospheric theme for the main menu. ME2 totally missed the mark on this. (Not that I don't like the SM theme, but come on!)
Hmh, ME2 theme fits.

Well true, but it does fit with the story of ME2 imo.

The original plan was for the main menu to loop the piano music that plays when Shepard dies.Fiery Phoenix wrote...

It does, but I would have preferred more relaxed, reflective music for the main menu (ala ME1). I was actually hoping ME3 would give us that again, so I'm glad it's happened.Thekill_3 wrote...

Whoa, with all these guys working on it, the ME3 soundtrack will be the best one yet!
I'm betting that some of them will be working on DLC again. I'm okay with this.
