"You can fill in the blanks there yourself. Example: '..the music where Shepard and Ashley have their cake at the cafeteria.'"

^That was a joke

"...the music where Jacob and Shepard have their Prize at the cabin."

By the way, thanks to those involved for the brushing-up on ME2 music lore, heh. I'm going to buy this mix of Lo Fi Epic too. I always loved both of Omega's Afterlife raves and now I know quite a bit more about them indeed.

"...the music where Legion and Joker have their gaming competition at the Normandy."

Guess who won?

I think it was a tie. Legion wins Medal of Duty (or whatever that was) while Joker puts the moves on all the ladies in that dating service.

Don't ask me why the dating gig was turned into a competitive experience. I think it was Joker's idea, although a rumor persists that it was EDI's. Odd sense of humor, that one.

I agree 100%. Can't wait to hear Victory in game. Will be very epic and nostalgic at the same time.

The new Victory remix sounds like something that'll fit the perfect ending for the game, or a peaceful beginning(earth pre-invasion).

I saw this here and in other threads. It's because "Victory" plays when Sovereign blows up in Mass Effect 1. So people's subconscious are playing tricks on them by telling them it'd be a good epilogue peice... not that it wouldn't be.

Just saying.

I hope they let him use this piece too *crosses fingers*

That piece was beautiful. It NEEDS to be in Mass Effect somehow.

I'm just happy that the galaxy map music *probably* won't be changing. In ME2, I was all sad and depressed and angry at Cerberus and hating Miranda and Jacob and the new Normandy and so on and so forth... and then I opened up the map and heard that music and felt at home again. So it better not change!

Also reallyreallyreallyreally excited that Sam Hulick is officially working on ME3.

I love the composer press release. Not only do we know that incredibly talented composers are behind ME3, but we're getting awesome tweets and samples from them as well. :D

And this so much! When I first opened up the galaxy map on the SR2 I froze and just listened to the music for like five minutes.

Thrilled with both of those.

I really wish they kept ambient music for the SR-2 in ME2 though.

Well he actually explains what happened in a comment. Apparently it was his original idea for the Normandy's ambient music (hence my seemingly out-of-place comment just now) but it wasn't tense enough and such.

I love that piano theme...thank god they're going to use it! (that IS the version they're using right?) I love piano themes in games more than orchestrated parts.

The music updates are amazing. Some really great composers working on ME3, and the stuff I've heard so far is just perfect.
