"Adept is way too powerful on insanity, I am trivializing everyone. Unfortunately it's nerf time."
OK, this scares me. Hopefully you don't mean nerf like the type of nerfing that was done to the Adept from ME1 to ME2...because that was a gross overcompensation. But by all means, balance the classes. I have a Shepard for each class so I play with them all, Adept just happens to be my favorite.
I think you didn't played Adept properly in ME2.
Cause I was kicking ass with Adept on Insanity.
I played every class on Insanity. Yes, it was beatable with all the classes, but the Sentinel, Soldier, and Infiltrator were way more powerful than the Engineer, Vanguard, and especially Adept. Engineer at least had a good lockdown power with Combat Drone, and when you got your cooldown to a minimum with guardian with Vanguard, you could pretty much have your shields raising all the time. classes with high health/shields and endurance (adrenaline rush and tech armor) were heavily favored on Insanity; the way to balance this would be to have the other classes able to do more damage in a shorter amount of time. The Infiltrator got this treatment with a high DPS (assassin cloak and widow sniper rifle) but the others actually had less damage output along with less fortitude. So the other way to balance this would be crowd control abilities, but all of the Adept's crowd control powers were nullified by protections that
every single enemy had on Insanity, forcing you to approach the situation like a Soldier
first and
then fire off biotics.
Anyway, my point is that my assertion isn't unfounded, and that you don't have to get so defensive and insult my playing ability. I'm sure there are people better than me, but I've played games my entire life; I'm no slouch.
