Not to mention it WAS the holiday season. They have families to go home too. And the downtime helps reduce the urge to kill each other it the studio apparently XD

edit: Comic in April?  Was hoping before March but thats clearly not a possibility. I wonder if the story will be prior me3 or post. Probably prior.

No, the Homeworlds series will focus on different character from ME3 in each issue. Vega's simply in the first one.

Um, don't know if you've noticed, but Shepard is never the protagonist in the comics or novels.  You're jumping to a very stupid conclusion.

Similar to the fact that I "knew" that I wouldn't like Mordin because almost every Salarian in the first game was an annoying jerk. He ended up being a favorite character. A simple prejudice, and I know it doesn't make sense, I'm just basing my dislike for Vega because I was never a fan of the uber-moto myself, since often it turned out that they sucked at their actual jobs and it was all an act.

Who knows, he might end up being another favorite character, but at this point I wouldn't want him as a protagonist.

Regardless, he does kind of get one.  He'll start at whatever level he ended ME2 with provided he doesn't switch classes.

The same reason I expect the Rachni to be alive.  The same reason I expect to have more credits at the start of ME3 because my ME2 Shepard accumulated a lot.  The same reason I expect to have fairly upgraded biotic powers on my Adept: because I leveled up as an Adept, I didn't level up as a Soldier.  It's the same logic.  I want my decisions to carry over, to mean something.  The class choice should mean something too.

I guess I should say I don't expect it, I would just like for as many decisions as possible to have actual meaning, including which class you choose to roll.

I would say yes, though not as much if you still have Legion, then you can at least still settle the Quarian/Geth dispute.
