I don't get peoples issue with DLC. It's just cheaper, split up expansion pack. Take all of ME2 DLC not counting the comic thing and its about 30 bucks.

In some countries buying a dlc = you're paying twice than buying simple game.

THIS.

Since when BioWare has free DLC?

../../../images/forum/emoticons/wondering.png

ME2
Normandy Crash Site
Zaeed - The Price of Revenge
Cerberus Weapon and Armor
*Arc Projector
Firewalker Pack

DA:O
The Stone Prisoner
*The Lucky Stone
*Embri's Many Pockets
*Amulet of the War Mage
*Helm of the Deep
*Mark of Vigilance

DA:II
The Black Emporium
*The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall
*Lothering's Lament
*Of Things Not lost
*Boots of the Frozen Waste

(*while these are only single weapons or items, they are still DLC available for free)

And
sure, while ME2's free DLCs required you to buy the game new, if you
buy the game used then of course Bioware isn't going to give you free
stuff - they don't get any of the money fro used games. I'm not saying
the used game market is wrong, but people who don't want to pay the
proper price for games aren't going to get any extra stuff for free.

I like this human. S/He understands!

... I always wanted to say that.

And little further I wrote that I know there is some of free DLCs but most of them are for pre-ordering the game, and after premiere you won't get these bonuses. Moreover, most of these DLCs are just stupid items. I know I can't expect to get everything for free but also I don't want to pay for every single thing. Like Nero Narmeril said, in some countries buying a DLC is seriously expensive..

It's easy to say: don't like it? Don't buy it.
But what if I want it, but it's to expensive? Yeah..

Uh here's an idea, ever heard of saving money? How about getting a better paying job? or maybe two jobs? If you really want something, it's on you to figure out how to get what you want. So it's expensive? No a gallon of gas being nearly 4 dollars is expensive. But guess what? It's an actual necessity, so no sense in complaining, because that won't bring the price down.

And if really it's too expensive, you simply go without it. I'm pretty sure we've all had to go without buying something right away because of finances, that's life. Those are the breaks.

I agree mostly , some companies though I think complaining let's the developer know they've crossed a line. And if they continue with their same practices you can always buy the game used , rent or boycott to send a message(profit wise).

Personally I think Bioware is by far the fairest company that offers a full game and extra dlc missions that give you alot of bang for your buck. When Kasumi first came out I didn't buy it until near the end of the year because of finance , but eventually I waited and bought the dlc.

Sweet! I think I'll play the demo just for ME3. I honestly don't know, or don't care to know, what reckoning is. This is kind of important - glad you can get the items without having to preorder a game. (Dragon armor from ME2..)

I don't get why there's a no to menu shortcuts, but I guess they'd have done it already (in ME2) if it was... uh, doable.

Wow, that would be good! I thought it would just be available for NG+, but maybe not.

I just wonder what the alternative will be for those of us who import our Shepards instead (like still seeing the trial, but instead they just list off our choices and we get to respond about our previous actions?).

My bet is that it's someone calling out what you did (so you pick your prefered option just before the admiral says ''Sacrificed/Saved the Citadel Council's Destiny Ascension''), for us importers it'll be all the options already pre-decided because, well, we already have done it.

No:

The Mass Effect 3 demo, which should be available sometime this month, will also unlock a piece of armor and a weapon for Reckoning on February 7.

That's the day KoA launches, so that's when you get the unlock for playing the ME3 demo. I.e., the ME demo will come out before that.

I'm betting on this.

Prosecutor: "Did you or did you not release a Rachni Queen from a lab on Noveria?"

It was the right thing to do
                   /
Shepard - -   It could be a powerful ally
                   \\
                       No! I destroyed it!

And things of that nature.

Yeaaah...what makes the engineer horrible to play on xbox are the 3 hot keys. Essentially 2 since "Y" is combat drone. I learned quickly that the engineer is moreso a caster than the adept. There's always something to use. Whether it's damaging shields, blasting armor, or freezing enemies - engineer requires more than 2 additional hotkeys.
