This was previously posted in the Reckoner Knight Armor thread:@femshep_com I just tried out the Reckoning armor. Our "helmet off in conversations" toggle works with it. It should work other sets too.

This is one of the best pieces of news I've heard in a while.

Awesome news! This is the first time I saw anything about "helmet off in conversations" also.

Uh here's an idea, ever heard of saving money? How about getting a better paying job? or maybe two jobs? If you really want something, it's on you to figure out how to get what you want. So it's expensive? No a gallon of gas being nearly 4 dollars is expensive. But guess what? It's an actual necessity, so no sense in complaining, because that won't bring the price down.
And if really it's too expensive, you simply go without it. I'm pretty sure we've all had to go without buying something right away because of finances, that's life. Those are the breaks.
Though you do make a valid point (albeit a bit harsh, imho) I find it amusing you try to bring your point across with those "outrageous" gas prices that aren't even half of gas prices in most of Europe.

Just so we can be clear, that doesn't state that the armour can be worn without the helmet, just that if you use that particular toggle then it won't show up in conversations
That doesn't mean the inverse is true either, but worth noting there is still ambiguity

"That said, I'll keep vanguard for my first playthrough at home after it releases. Once you go vanguard you can't go back."
Yeaaah...what makes the engineer horrible to play on xbox are the 3 hot keys. Essentially 2 since "Y" is combat drone. I learned quickly that the engineer is moreso a caster than the adept. There's always something to use. Whether it's damaging shields, blasting armor, or freezing enemies - engineer requires more than 2 additional hotkeys.
Hopefully in ME3 they will remove the class power from 'Y' so we can be left with 3 hotkeys.. that would, combined with the already featured ability to ony wield pistols, make my ultimate Adept playthrough possible

Fantastic news! The reason why I never wore full-on helmets in ME2, was because of conversations, no matter how good a piece of armor was.

You'll find that I'm just pretty blunt when people are stupid, I won't apologize for that.
Secondly, glad you were amused with me bringing up gas prices, but the point I was making is that it's an actual neccesity in everyday life. Most people have cars in order to get to work and everywhere in between. It's a priority.
Mass Effect 3 and video games are a source of entertainment, but it's not a priority, nor should it be if you aren't making the actual game. Regardless of the prices, I'm not complaining. Because complaining with no result is unproductive, something that people just don't understand or want to understand.

And one day you will find out that people can get very blunt with you when you accuse them of being stupid because they are not being able to afford things and that makes them frustrated
Anyway, off topic to an extreme

Yay! So when I go to a bar and order a drink, it's not going to magically go through the helmet!

But I reckon they'll just disappear =P
EDIT: yeah, I was thinking of Dead Space when writing this. Very nice helmet animations, and imagine those casually thrown into a conversation entering/exiting sequence. If only..

I wonder if it's animated. The helmet toggle I mean. Shepard actually taking the thing off with his/her hands would be cool, but I'd worship Bioware if they made the helmets collapse in a cool manner. Or something.

I was kinda assuming this to be the case. The game seems to want to focus largely on the graphics/presentation aspect, I figure they'd make it happen.
Course, the presentation aspect would include re-hiring Michael Beattie as Mordin, but I digress...

JakePT: @CGaspur Love the Mattock. Any chance we can make it black in ME3? There was talk of colour changing a while back. That make it to the end?
https://twitter.com/...491489172234240
CGaspur: @JakePT you can manipulate it's color through the mod system
I was worried that this feature might get canned at some point, since I imagine it somewhat limits their designs, but it looks like it's still in.

No prob. It's stupid how excited I am to see how they implemented that choices generator, because I will import my saves anyway so I probably will never use it, but I just can't help it xD It interests me so muchLGTX wrote...

No! I destroyed it!
And things of that nature.
The problem with this would be that those choices are in place for people without an import Shepard, who are new to the series. They wouldn't understand a word of what was being asked, nor would they care. Besides, these kind of facts would be known to the prosecutor, so it would be a stupid think to ask.
The tweet mentions an 'elegant solution', so I'm expecting more than that.

Oh, I'm just as excited. I'm also hoping that if it is made into a trial, then in the case of importing the whole process will play by itself and reaccount the choices we made in the first two games. That would rock.

Have you ever been/seen a trial hearing/court of some sort? B/c that usually how things work. In the trial court, evidence and testimony are admitted under the rules of evidence established by applicable procedural law and determinations called findings of fact are made based on the evidence. The court, presided over by one or more judges, makes findings of law based upon the applicable law. Questions are asked, whether if the certain person who is being trialed, has commited what he/she is being accused of.
Plus, if this even wasn't the case, it's a game mechanic, I don't see how that is stupid.

I have a feeling that certain someone on Youtube will not know that either in future.
