because having something in your personal collection is infinitely better than something that may not be around in a year from now?

jeez ****ing marketing speak: origin, pulse keeping all the content online, rather than in the hands of the consumer.

By the maker...
Bioware, if I may make humble suggestion...

Fire Mr. Silverman.
Seriously, this is not to be needlessly mean, it just strikes me as logical.
He's a bad joke amoung the fandom and so far nothing that has passed his lips has made anyone happy as far as I am aware.
Mr. Silverman's Dragon Age 2 marketing campaign shone everything in an terrible  light.
Poor Laidlaw always seemed to be doing recovery damage afterwards.

He's not been as obnoxious with Mass Effect 3, but again, he comes off as a cheesy car salesman.
Just being honest.

I am saying this for your sake.

Do you want a man who gets drunk and tells the press that Dragon Age 2 has cut out all the "pointless" detail and lore?
Because, I don't mind him as a customer. It's useful. I knew not to buy Dragon Age 2 thanks to him.

Again, humble suggestion, might wanna keep it in mind though.

Kiss kiss. :innocent:

This. I'm hoping they change their mind, digital entertainment is nice and all but it doesn't last forever (well, not really).

Dammit man, I've purchased ME2 and DAO twice because I wanted the CEs for those games after playing the retail version specifcally to get all the extras like making of and what not because its awesome. I get all giddy watching 12 different versions of the various internet and tv trailers for the games because they're like tiny music videos featuring my favorite subjects.

I'm shocked and pleasantly surprised to hear this from Mr. Walters. I hope he's committed to it, and this isn't just lip service.

I was very pleased to see this as well.

I'm one of BioWares biggest supporters (apologists some would say) and I agree with what you posted.

Is the comic going to actually have some competent workers on the inside? The covers look pretty the inside art however my cat could draw better and it really makes me want to burn it everytime I see the inside work its so horrible. I'm debating on actually pre ordering this time but if a prothean squadmate DLC character and that awful art comic are included I'm just going to say no thanks. So far on what they've got coming with the set I only like the CD and artbook I've got more stuff I think is ok or dumb on the list to really make me pause giving $80 up.

Uh no I saw that and he said the DLC for ME3 would follow the pattern (or something) of ME2 DLC

That's really surprising as ME3 is supposed to be the culmination of Shepard's story.

There simply cannot be story-bridging DLC if Shepard's story is over..... or is it?  :wizard:

"Just watched your @gamespot piece from earlier, did I see right that squadmates have their own Paragon/Renegade meters? #ME3"

"Yea, we wanted to show some of the RPG stuff, but screens aren't done. Squad renegade/paragon won't be there."

So the Paragon/Renegae meters you saw in the Gamespot demo for squadmates? It was not suppose to show for them.  Therefore it won't be in the final game.

No, not like DA2
The demo today showing the paragon/renegade for squadmates was not supposed to show for squadmates and won't when the game ships.

I'm sure they will have that after E3.
