Wow, there is alot of hate towards Freddie Prince Jr. I have nothing against the guy myself and from what little I have heard from Vega I think he is doing a pretty good job but I do think it is strange that Bioware made such a big deal hyping up Vega's VO and then keeping it secret for so long only to reveal that it was Freddie Prince Jr., Surely common sense would have told them that the BSN community weren't going to make a be happy with the reveal.

The BSN community isn't happy with anything.

I thought that he actually got a relatively positive reaction for the most part. And there's been more than a few people who've decided to stop thinking of Vega as a stereotypical dudebro/Jersey Shore character because of the reveal, which can only be a good thing.

Freddie Prinze Jr. in Mass Effect is as exciting as having Seth Green in it, at least for me. They're both huge Geeks for comics and video games and toys. Combining that with their acting careers is like geek nirvana. So having Freddie play Jimmy V. is a great prospect. I'm damn sure he's gonna bring that enthusiasm and his A-game to this major role in the climactic end of an awesome Trilogy.

I think a lot of people are very prejudice when it comes to Freddie. I, personally, barely know his work and I'm sure 99% of users here are in the same boat.

However, like I said before, from what I've heard of Vega so far, I've really been quite pleased. For one of the first times ever, I plan to actually use Vega as a squadmate rather than stay with my favourites Ashley and Garrus.

 Personally, Freddie being Vega doesn't upset or excite me, but what I have heard of his VA for the character so far sounds more than satisfactory

 Vega may not strike people as very deep or interesting yet, but I would contend that even the best characters at first seemed either boring or like overblown stereotypes

 I am quietly confident he will do a good job and Vega will, at the very least, stand up alongside other squadmates

Indeed, though the difference isn't terribly massive, seems to be mostly just the candy shell.

As for Freddie Prinze Jr, he was entertaining as heck when he was on Psych. I'll give him a shot.

Nah, sorry I like to speak up when people talk. Make no mistake, people are entitled to their opinions, it doesn't mean they're right or any else stupid by saying them in the manner that they do.
