"Does "galaxy at war" effect galactic readiness on all saves or just the current one that is being played?"

"It impacts all saves. We found the other way was too confusing, and required a more complicated interface."

I'm still...a little worried about this though. It impacts all saves? So..if I import my "pro-cerberus" shepard..that means it'll be harder to be pro-cerberus when everyone has a greater chance at living?

Don't get me wrong, my cannon shepard is paragon - but I could see this issue being bad if you're renegade shepard..

Some clarification on the Normandy upgrades issue: Manveer and I are both right. He is correct in the sense that none of the gameplay research upgrades will carry over to ME3. However the Nomandy upgrades (shields, armor and cannon) do have an impact in the game and are do carry forward. Hope that helps.

Okay so the improtant upgrades. That's good cause it wouldn't make sense to make them important in ME2 and not in ME3.

Has there been any mention of an iOS version yet? Seeing as how ME is a popular EA franchise, and EA makes iOS ports to all their successful franchises, including shooters (Dead Space, Battlefield), it seems inevitable. Just wondering if there has been any mention of that.

I think he's referring to multiplayer, where you only have to unlock stuff for it once, and you can use the resources you gain in your matches all of your saves.

Could someone tweet this question to one of the devs on behalf of my friend? My friend doesn't have Zaeed or Kasumi(I intorduced him to Mass Effect around 8 months after ME2 came out and he played 1,2 but didn't download zaeed since they made him payed) so will they still show up in his save game?

I hope you're right. I do not want my one MP character effecting all SP campaigns. If you only have to unlock MP resources for MP once, I'm down for that.

I thought Galactic Readiness was used like a currency? You used it to purchase assets and fleets, etc etc. So if your galactic readiness is shared between all saves, if you deplete it in your first save then you need to gather it all over again in your next. So unless MP gives you a ridiculous amount of GR, I doubt you'll be capped for every save. If you are, you can just choose not to take certain assests that you feel your Shepard wouldn't.

That was my understanding anyway, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

To me he's talking about the war assets you can import in the SP, but I wouldn't worry about that, I think that you actually have to import a maxed characted to make it count in the SP, the game won't do it on your back (that's how I understand it).

If that's the case then I'm totally down with that, but it would be nice if a dev would confirm.

If there are any lights on, that may be an issue...but yes, you may want to break it up with giant jenga.  Nothing like the threat of wood bricks burying and crushing meat bags to chase away every other thought.

I know this is not the place to post this but Is it possible to be pro Cerberus in this one? I am doing a pro Cerberus play through for mass effect 2.

NEW ME3 VIDEO TOMORROW (these things don't really fail tbh)

Thanks for posting. Shared! =D

Who's still doing Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 playthroughs still? Got two playthroughs on Mass Effect 2 to do and my first ever female Shepard playthrough to do in Mass Effect!

Doing a ME1 playthrough right now, though I'm sort of suffering through it. Replaying ME1 really brings out what ME2 changed and did better. Don't get me wrong I like ME1... but it's just really dragging.

ME2 just nails atmosphere a bit better than ME1. But don't mind me and my whinning.

I agree there! The story and RPG was better in ME1 but everything else was better in ME2. I'm right at the start of my female playthrough on Eden Prime, not sure if I'll do all the side missions yet.

Yeah, I just started another full playthrough in ME1 and am finishing one that is almost at the end of 2. But I find myself skipingp almost all side missions and planet exploration. Just can't be bothered anymore, thoug I still love playing through the main story line.

That makes zero sense ...... Guess I'll avoid MP until after my 6 playthroughs. Why would one MP character effect all of your SP campaigns?

Has anyone ever asked this question ?

What is going to happen when a player finishes ME3 SP with all his characters maxed out (char. levels, etc...)? Are those MP characters going to be reseted to default level 1 while player starts new game ?
