Take the original comment about the permanent squadmembers (Liara,Garrus,Tali,Vs, Vega) add in the whole temp squadmates that we know will be happening and what has just been said in the last comment and nothing has changed or been clarified.
If we get numerous temp squaddies in me3 then of course squadmembership isn't working the same as me1 or me2. The problem with that is at the moment it seems that its the me2 specific charactes who fall into that equation, think about it for a second, if the confirmed permanent characters are not actually permanent then what was the point in calling them permanent characters in the first place?
It looks like they're setting the stage for me2 characters to be sidelined into smaller roles than me1 characters (no matter how its done a temp squaddie is a smaller role than a permanent one), yes there could be story reasons why it makes sense for some but all of them really?
A simple reveal of one of the me2 specific characters being a full squadmate would eliminate this partly, but you just have to ask yourself why haven't they done this yet. It reeks of the reveal process of me2 when lots of people were asking about the me1 crew and we were told we had to wait and see and look how that turned out.

Prob. just a test/curiosity satisfaction of how failshep works in ME3. I might be interested in that as well, as a sort of bile fascination.Vertigo_1 wrote...

Theres something legitimate to this..I just cant quite piece it together. Something about ardat yakshi's and Kasumi's blackbox or whatever. Theres something really there, hes not just teasing us.

" real harcore gamers are at consoles" lol, what nerves, dumb blonde.
It makes me mad atleast. Aiming and moving with a controller is like eating soup with a knife.
I tried it, and I observed others doing it which played like that for many years. It is physically impossible to play "hardcore" with a controller. Slow, unprecise and dependant on official aim-bots. I don't hate consoles or console players, but controllers are by design a very inefficient way of control a shooter.
When game designers say things like that quote, that makes me really doubt if they know what they are talking about. My only advice would be watching some of the more professional frag vids of CS, Quake 3 or UT99-2004 on youtube, or check out the still ongoing tournaments, leagues and cups with prize money to realize how todays shooter games look and sound much better but feel like taking a casual walk in the park and are much less hardcore and competative in comparison.

"I love Ashley's new look in ME3, gonna be upset if all of the ****ers and complainers persuade Bioware to change her look"
"We don't compromise artistic vision"
I guess the writers don't count as artists, then. Or the original ones, anyway.
You know that the changes to her style could very well be temporary? Imagine that during Shepard trial, she comes to testify in favor of Shepard. So, naturally, she dresses up formal and act all "nice" for the sake of Shepard. She might very well be totally annoyed by that but she still does it for him.
Then, she goes back to the her ME1 behavior.
A short story about a conversation on Twitter:
Fan: "We're a bit worried about Ash, will she get proper armor eventually? Christina: "I like the new look."
Fan: "That's not what I asked, though. So no new armor then?" Christina: "Oh, armor isn't necessary anymore."
Many fans: "Why are the guys still wearing it, then?" Christina: "You haven't seen guys yet."
Fans: "Uhhh, there were several in the promos." Christina: "Just wait and see."
Then it all goes downhill and protecting artistic vision is brought up. And we are apparently stupid and evil for disagreeing (politely). Nice.

EDIT: almost forgot, she also told me that the radar won't be making a return during realtime play, but will probably stay in the tactical pause.
It's great to be able to interact with such responsive developers.

Just had a chat with Christina on twitter regarding the HUD, suggested that they move the healthbar/squaddie head icons to the right corner in order to balance stuff out, and she actually said that might work. Looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

Yeah I put all of that up in my earlier post
Thanks for asking about that though...I miss the radar from ME1.
