I bought a "used" (aka open box) Kinect off of amazon for $90 shipped and aside from a few specks of dust you'd never know it wasn't brand spanking new. I didn't want to pay total for something I'm only going to use with ME3. Well, that is assuming it doesn't drive me insane during game play in which case, I'll have one for sale lol.

lol nice. Just checked online and I see they have refurbished ones for $99, so with the coupon they're gonna release, paying $50 for it is as good of a price as I'm ever going to get for something I may only use for one game after which the rest of my house will probably have their way with it lol

Psh, for $50 bucks you might as well! I'm right there with you though, I'm sure one of my house mates will abscond with the damned thing eventually.

Yeah, was that older game before ME2 involving Miranda and Jacob... I can't even remember what platform that was on. Was a handheld of some kind though right? Either way they're all done in some cartoony or 'stylized' thing.

And that's why I always steer clear of genre discussions. I can understand the controversy around it though - looking at the ME games through a lense of limited genre concepts would probably make me a very grumpy person.

Ive never cared much for the game going in one direction or another just that it's very fun and has plenty of customization. The developers seem to hold the same belief.

I figure if they continue Mass Effect, Shepards story will be well and over with. But you could probably just import the broad results of the War for a new game that takes place like 200 years later or something.

Maybe your saves will give you bonuses in say the next dragon age. Obviously there is going to be more mass effects so probably they will give you a bonus or added story in them. They don't HAVE to involve shepard

I doubt it. Just another story for another human. Or if we're feeling daring, perhaps an alien race. Either is fine with me.

It really couldn't be like a Dragon Age Origins type thing though where you can choose a race. Mass Effect has always been about that dialog system and the acting so it'd have to be one main character, male or female, fully voiced.

It's probably DLC related not a new game. If they do a new game, which they've said they haven't thought that far ahead yet (other then its likely). Is it'll probably take place in the past, not after. I'd imagine the overall outcomes (entire races being wiped out) carrying over to a new ME game that's not Shepard related 'in the future' would... just aint gonna happen.

That and the next game, the saves, console wise, good chance they wont cross over in the first place. Sure PC could, being PC, but as a whole they just wouldn't go that route.

So my bets on large DLC and saving your saves is so you can play em with those chars. Which frankly I'd be doing anyways cause thats what I wanna do.
