Just a small info, the EA Showcase in Paris Mike Gamble was doing all these interviews at was on Jan 26, so it was on Jan 26 when he said they're heading for certification "this week". Wonder if that means the game's already gone gold

I think certification is when you send the games to ESRB, PEGI and others to rate the game.

.....if the game's gone gold they would have said so already.

Must be pretty close. If anything changes between certification and release, they'd need to go through certification again. Chances are they're just fixing up the last bugs.

What is this supposed to mean? Could it be the search and destroy thing cause I'm pretty sure planet scanning is out of ME3.

This sounds more likely.  I like the idea of a rescue mission type thing.  ... As long as the galaxy map still has the Uncharted Worlds track playing under it.
