I've noticed in the past when threads are unstickied without any word its usually due to error or the mod wants the thread to die quietly.

I usually come here first when I sign in to see the latest and greatest since everyone seems to stay pretty on top of things. I am disappoint in the unstickyness. TTT

The thread is starting to have tech problems because of its size. Threads usually get quietly shut down when they get a really high page count.

I can see that as a legit possibility, but why not just keep it stickied and lock it up top, then let us (read: people who actually contribute) start up another.

fair enough. And it ain't the migrant fleet of tali'zorah fans. That thread got to 10,000 pages(I **** you not) by the end, entire pages would be randomly deleted.

Why was this unstickied? I go to this thread and the Known Featured thread and Prothy support thread when going on the BSN. Most other threads consist of people whining about something in my opinion.

I know the feeling. Rarely do I venture beyond my set threads.

The only threads that I have open in my tabs virtually 24/7 are the Motivational Thread, Ash Thread, this one () and my main group's page on a regular basis.
