No what I was asking for was a chance to make the choices Genesis never gave us.MasterEcabob wrote...

Alright, thanks for asking him. I kinda wish I could have a chance to see him, but I I accepted it a while back, I was just wondering(damn Genesis)Vertigo_1 wrote...

"Do you know if at the beginning of #ME3 I can change whether or not certain characters were alive in ME1, like Kirrahe?..."
"Nope, whoever is dead is dead. Fortunately Genesis covers most ground that anyone who hasn't played ME1 will notice."
There's your answer pmac_tk421 and to anyone else who was wondering.
Dead = Dead
Given the recent Mike Gamble interviews which implied imports rechose too, this is great news. It makes no sense for you to just magically "redo" all of your choices before the start.

c'mon guys, we can't let this fall off the first page!
Yeah. Shiala automatically dies, same with Kirrahe, Conrad Verner, Giana Parasini, the Feros colonists and almost everyone else. I know that there is a common misconception that Kirrahe can be saved through Genesis, but I've played 11 files with Genesis and you can't save him.Adhin wrote...
Yeah Genesis kinda left some stuff to be desired, completely ignored one of the planets too. Not sure why they would just leave him out of it, even with out a choice.
Anyways as for the dialog stuff a lot of the beta footage is done via action mode too where the player makes no dialog choices for anything. There's a few of that scene where the dialog wheels up on everything except for quick cutscene stuff like alex90c mentioned. Same kinda stuff you had in ME1 and ME2 where it was minor bits.
from everything we've seen its the same as the last 2 games for amount of control you have over the conversations. Unless you turn on auto-dialog anyways, but that's a different thing all together.

More new info? I like this. Not that I'm thrilled with this thread being un-sticky-ed, of course.Chewin3 wrote...
Okay, since people have been wondering why this thread isn't stickied anymore, I took the liberty of asking Chris Priestly to state a reason why. Here's what he answered:
The Twitter thread is a great thread, but it is for fans to discuss what staff tweet. We have a lot of information and such coming in the next month as we get close to launch and will need the top for more official posts. I know there is zero way that fans would ever let the Twitter thread die and will always keep it near the top anyways, so it was chosen to be unstickied.
So there you have it. The Twitter thread did a great job keeping us posted with information. It served its purpose this long. Everyone who contributed should tap theirselves in the back, 'cause you've earned it!
That...sounds scary. But sounds equally awesome.Vertigo_1 wrote...

Well something ive been thinking about, I talked to Mordin and all he saids is he heard that Kirrahe died on Virmire. Is there any other evidence in the game that points to him being dead or is it that the only line? I played ME2 only on the PS3 so I dont know what happens if he is alive like if you get an email from him or something. Just since i play on the PS3 and only came across Mordin saying he heard Kirrahe died on Virmire is there a way for Bioware to give PS3 players Kirrahe still since as far as i know from my point of view Mordin couldve heard wrong.
