Is that really specifically stated? I wasn't aware that they were anything other than a malicious AI with a synthetic organic shell.

Huh, I never caught that conversation before. Interesting.

Thanks everyone.

Pretty crazy huh? It's kinda funny everyone assumed it was some race that accidently made a 'Geth mistake' and that resulted in this cycle. Instead enough people of some long dead race got together and decided 'Hey lets goo are brains, mash them together and create 1 giant space-robot entity'.

Kinda curious if that as, as a whole, one races overall agenda by some point. Did they just kinda think it was the last step in there evolution? As close as they could become to an immortal god? Or was it some crazy side cult faction off to the side throwing up a Galaxy War ascension thing that resulted in wiping out there entire species and starting this crazy galactic death cycle.

I love this. The Citadel as a dynamic place. Changing as the situation changes.

Refugees must be flooding in there.

Me too! This sounds fantastic!

And it also has been something lacking from BioWare games - crowded busy places. The universe always felt empty in the ME series. This sounds just awesome!

The more I hear about ME3 the more it sounds like everything people were wanting after ME2. If thats a bit rabid fanboyish - well - yoyu're right - it probably is. BUT DAMMIT! Its just so damn purty! Posted Image

It is pretty crazy imagining that the reapers are essentially a bunch of organic minds bent to the breaking point. Sort of a stew of crushed and tortured intelligence.

Hopefully without the annoying music (good music is good though!) and creepy puppetness...

I dunno if I'd go that far. Part of what made those scenes absolutely absurd were the terrible graphics and body models in which they were featured.

Chris forgot the caveat: for now. From the looks of that enemies trailer the citadel has a cereal killer on the loose who's going to kill everyone in his puruit of the last box of Booberry.

I wonder if we'll learn about the Reaper's history in ME3. What if some disaster occured to a species eons ago and the only way they could preserve themselves was to upload their minds into an immortal machine? Then something went wrong with the collective consciousness and the machine started replicating itself and getting a violent god complex?

I'd love to see all the motivations behind the Reapers - their start, their years of conquest, what they hope to achieve etc. The lore on this would be fascinating. I hope its really covered in depth.

FemShep Undies... probably to much to ask for a Tali in undies romance section. But that does at least hopefully mean less full clothing awkwardness going on. Though the Miranda bra reveal was well done as far as the clothing bring stripped away - thought that bit was nifty at least. Rarely see that in games.Cloth being removed that is. Dark sector had a bit with that I think at the beginning, pulled off his skin-tight mask. Was real fancy... and the only time anything like that ever happened in the game heh.

Ahh man that... that smile.

So hey if any devs are reading this, or any of you wanna toss this question on Twitter. We know (sort of) that we get 178 points to spend by lvl 60 in the main game. But how many to we get to spend by lvl 20 in the multiplayer. Looks like you get 3 per lvl up to at least lvl 5 (least from the recent videos).

Very curious about that, was very happy to see we get the 2 passives along with 3 abilities. But that's 105 points required to max out all 5. Very curious.
