good God Lemon! It took me a while to find this thread again. I think I remember them saying you can romance squadmates from ME1 & ME2 with an import in ME3 even if you missed out on romancing them before. I'm pretty sure I saw it a few months ago. Confirm? I wonder how they are going to handle romance conflicts and romances with temporary squadmates
I think they confirmed that you can romance characters from ME1 and ME2 even if you didn't romance them. However, my memory is as bad as yours. Best check in the Known Features thread

All signs from the leaked script point to "no" for this being able to happen anyway.aLucidMind wrote...
My question is how can you romance an ME2 character if you did not romance them in ME2 if they're only in one mission in the game?

BSN turned into a unbearable sea of stupidity and lame whining repeated threads in the past couple weeks.
Unfortunately I think it's time to me take a time off the boards.

that sounds like a great idea. I might do the same until reviews start coming out.

Same here. Good thing I'll be on vacation. Will take my mind off BSN and ME3, temporarily at least

I've been playing ME3 multiplayer as opposed to messin' around on the BSN. It really is quite fun.
Besides, the boards always become a sea of crazyness the during the weeks before a release. It's a lot of paranoia I think.

I say all the stupidity is a good thing; it can be used to show parents what happens if you shake a baby.....or, in the case of some users, punt a baby into a ceiling fan.

What I love about ME3 multiplayer the most though, is that it is essentially the very core combat mechanics of the ME series. In fact I'd argue that under the challenging conditions of the multiplayer the various classes shine like they've never shone before.
I'm playing a Sentinel, a SENTINEL... I have NEVER played a Sentinel... EVER. And I am loving it.
If the single player can shine as much as the multiplayer has for me, this is going to be a properly good game.

Sanity has long since been beaten down, anally probed, disinigrated, and indoctrinated by the horrors of thousands (And by that I mean the same 100 people who repost the same complaint over and over) of annoying ****ing voices in my head!! (And on my computer screen)Sbri wrote...

I'm experiencing the same thing. I've been playing as an Engineer, Sentinel and Infiltrator; classes I've never even thought of trying in ME2. I'm loving all of the classes, each with their own play styles, pros, cons etc.MasterSamson88 wrote...

Same as my tag here.
I originally wanted to be a Turian Soldier, but nowI don't know if I could. My Turian's overload as Sentinel is just epic, I have it fully upgraded to where it will sort of chain lightning off into two other enemies. I also have it set to Neural Shock so it also brings them all to their knees as well.
Tie that in with him also having Warp, and Turian Sentinel is incredibly useful.

I know a lot of people are still skeptical about the multiplayer too, and that they're worried it'll take away from single player, and that is a genuine worry, but honestly I'm not so worried now. ME3 MP is essentially the core ME experience, that is a party with various abilities fighting enemies with various weaknesses to a combination of these abilities.
It is essentially ME SP with the AI companions replaced by PC controled ones. It really isn't so complex, and playing it you really do get the feeling that the development team really HAS been thinking about this multiplayer concept for a long time and that with ME3 they finally had a reason to implement it in a meaningful way.

"Been asking this for a while, but no one has answered. Can I play Multiplayer without it affecting my SP game, if I want."
"I enjoy multiplayer in the demo a LOT, but I want my Single Player outcome to be based on my single player choices alone."
"well, it will always affect SP's Galaxy at War system to the best of my knowledge. But that's a good thing, not a bad."
https://twitter.com/...572668796538880
"I don't think so. I want my SP ending to be a natural progression of my choices."
"What's the point of having these "difficult" choices and ambiguous morality if I can avoid the consequences by playing Co-op."
"Nah you can't avoid the consequences. So there are consequences of choices. Those will happen no matter what"
https://twitter.com/...573375654207490
"But then there is "how well do you do at the end". Remember how upgrading Normandy in ME2 affected the end. It's like that."
https://twitter.com/...573507783163905
"You will make huge epic choices in ME3 that will change the universe forever that you cannot change through Galaxy of War"
https://twitter.com/...573650360156162
"That's good to hear, that's what I was worried about. I suppose I'll have to see what affects what before I can truly judge."
"But I will be avoiding Multiplayer until I finish single player, just to play it safe."
"yeah if you want to be as 'pure' as possible that is the safest bet. Let me know your thoughts when you play through"
https://twitter.com/...574912229093376
"I will. Thanks for answering my questions."
