Wait, you played the retail game already?
Anyway, I love the MP part and I hate traditional online games like WoW and BF. I also love the integration based off what I have heard.

Don't care, I want to play the single player game without any interference by what I do elsewhere. There should be an option.Hammer6767 wrote...

Think of it like this; if you play just the campaign you can get the 'perfect ending', but it will require doing a huge amount of side quests. You can do them if you want, or you can ignore them. Ignoring them will result in a lower 'galactic readiness', and thus a higher probability of people dying/crap hitting the fan.
If you happen to take a break from the campaign and play some multiplayer, all it does is throw some extra points on your galactic readiness, making it theoretically possible to get the 'perfect ending' without doing all the side quests. But you can still do the side quests regardless, resulting in an even higher galactic readiness.
Purists wont like it, but I think for a majority of people the main concern about the Galaxy at War was that playing multiplayer would result in irreversible decisions, as if you were taking time away from the main quest and thus would suffer consequences. I'm pretty sure you don't. All it does is add bonus galactic readiness points to your campaign, points that you can still achieve by going solo.
Play the multiplayer for ten minutes, and you might get a few points, at no cost. Play it for 40 hours, and you'll get heaps of points, again at no cost. Don't play it at all and there's still no cost, as long as you do sidequests.

I also have an issue about the GaW system. I thought I understood it as I could chose to apply the point accrued with the MP if I wanted, But Manveer makes it sound like it happens no matter what. This irks me because I intend on playing a LOT of MP before I even touch the SP at all and I don't want them to interact without my consent.
I feel the same way. I'm going to wait until after my first runthrough to do much multiplayer, just so that I can have one totally single player experiance.
I will admit that I have never tried to do any FPS multiplayer prior to this. My VERY patient husband

The Galaxy at War system is horrible. A guy who has played the game described it and I can't imagine people are going to be happy about it once the game launches.

I will admit that I have never tried to do any FPS multiplayer prior to this. My VERY patient husbandis teaching me the tactics involved. But that means we're playing two player in a game balanced for four, so the learning curve is pretty steep. We've still not made it past wave four on Bronze, but I am getting better! I'm going to be sad when the multiplayer demo goes away. It's been a good way to learn without frustrating the hell out of innocent bystanders. If we do ever try to join another game, I DON"T want to be hearing insults/frustrating people due to my lack of experiance.
Dont mind those people, just tell them to get a life and ignore them.

It won't be a problem because nobody ever talks.
But I think it'll be okay personally. Everyone I've actually gotten to talk in MP so far has been cool.

I'll create a separate thread for it.
I was trying to avoid creating a thread about it on the general forum but it pisses me off so much.

So you know a "guy" who played it? Color me a little bit skeptical without any proof.

You played the full game? Hahahaha like i belive that, that sounds like more like speculation to me instead. Why would you even have played the full game over 2 weeks before release? I say:
Screenshot or your just giveing wrong information to us, or you played the DEMO not the full game.

I really hope there is a clear demacation and I can make the MP count in any form if and only if I chose to.
I'm an avid multiplayer shooter player, I pretty much play everything except CoD. Shooters are my thing but I understand the initial vertigo when you play a MP shooter or shooter hybrid in the case of ME3. I actually intend to savour the single player and not play it for at least 2 weeks after launch so I'm going to be going heavy on the MP.

@manveerheir Quick question regarding N7 guns/Chakram Launcher/Collector AR. Will DLing them unlock them & their upgrades for SP AND MP?
From @manveerheir
@me I believe so but not 100% tbh
Edit: Is there anyway to link to specific Twitter posts with the new UI?

That is very subjective and you can't speak for everyone. But, your opinion is noted.
