He said the truth though. It really ain't a coincidence that Forbes' been writing new ME3 article almost everyday since March 6 lol

Exactly.  Pretty transparent what they're doing.

OMG ! a media that dare talk about what people are intrested in ! this is scandalous !

It's still most likely a PR stunt.

The saddest part about all this media coverage is that neither side seems to have actually played the goddamn games as actual fans did, making all their arguments moot. Meanwhile fans who actually played the games and KNOW the lore and the plot are set off aside as entitled brats.

But it's not like they write nonsense just to get readers.  They make good points and they do it in a better fashion than the gaming sites that think everyone who disliked the ending(s) are entitled or whiny.

Oh and they aren't getting paid like the gaming sites via advertisement

For even more lulz, how come we didn't  see BW call out IGN for those editorials that said anyone who was dissatisfied "entitled".

I mean BW is just tweeting the truth right?

Why aren't they commenting on other forms of "questionable" journalism?  Posted Image

Yes their articles are interesting and all. But the amount of them is getting funny. This really isn't a national security crisis that calls for every Forbes contributor to give his opinion.

But they have other ads on the website that generate profit. And "Subscribe to Forbes!" plastered on it. And all the logos of different Forbes affiliates. Let's not pretend these articles are posted on blank ads-less pages without company logos.

To be fair, I think there's really only two writers who have picked up on it. They write about it frequently enough, but I'm sure it's not a major focus for Forbes (it's just what these two guys want to talk about). No doubt the popularity leads to them writing about it more often than if nobody had cared, but well, duh.

The current article (written by somebody else) looks to be really unfocused, though. I can't quite figure out what exactly the guy being spoken with is trying to say, much less how it's at all relevant to ME3.

1. Since they are responding to this Forbes article, could someone ask how they would feel if Prometheus marketed something, but didn't turn out to be true when the movie was finally revealed, citing the May 2011 GameInformer magazine in the process?

2. This whole argument/debate over Mass Effect 3 is pretty big, so just to say that it gives them more hits isn't fair. They talk about pretty important matters: Players rights vs Creator rights, Art vs Product, the role of social apps and marketing. For Gamble to say what he did is pretty shortsighted, and makes me think they are still in their "defensive" mode, and that they are NOT going to change the endings, only add clarification to them

It's not every Forbes contributor you know...

Where? I don't see that.  And I was referring to the ME3 ads on these sites (mainly IGN)

My point still stands, I'd rather read articles that are well thought out and examine the issue on both sides rather than come out and make responses that these fans are 'whiny' or feel 'entitled'.

Yes, it is. A pity that any scene envolving Hammer did not hold up.
Fighting alongside the turians on Menae felt much more like Shepard was the middle of an actual warzone.

I won't think of Casey Hudson, or some of the other writers in the Bioware team the same way again. After the bad ending we know that the writers are only really good TOGETHER, the instant that a few writers locked themselves away from the rest of the team and created that ending the magic was gone forever.
