Guess you have to not go after the bomb until after Rannoch to get this, though

I want to try this, but I have a feeling that it'll only end in the bomb going off and Eve getting killed. The same thing happened when I tried to wait until I had Kaidan and Tali to do Grissom Academy.

Timer doesn't seem to start until you rescue the turian patrol.  So I guess you're supposed to do Wrex's mission instead, and put off the Primarch's until afterwards.

Maybe.  I dunno how that works exactly.

When will the Extended Cut DLC be available?

Currently the Extended Cut DLC is planned for this summer, no specific date has been announced at this point.

http://blog.bioware....3-extended-cut/

:sigh: im suprised they havent announced any other sp dlc to hold us over till then

No one really cares for any other SP DLC other than EC. It may sound mean but its true.

I think that Bioware is worried about how any other DLC will sell with how unhappy a lot of fans are.  There are plenty of us who at this point have no plans of buying future content unless things change.  If Bioware thinks that that number is large enough I could totally see them canceling all other single player efforts until the Extended cut is released.

BUT we're a whiny minority!!!

Please explain what your saying good man.

One example among many : www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObYGNPw6uLo

When Legion says "Indicative of life", Shepard can answer "Yes (and I luv care bears)" or "No!! It's evil *puking everywhere*. My Shepard and I would like a neutral answer :"I do not know. I'm a soldier, not Plato." or "Not time for a philosophical debate, we've a work to do."  Something like that.

It happens a lot of time in the game and that makes me cringe. I can not explain more precisely because the frenchy french speaks mainly french.

Nice, I have a headache now...

I agree! Remember my last post? I REGRET saying that neutral options weren't necessary, because of all the VALID points people like you made.

I just think that in some occasions it should just me yes/no. (Geth/Quarian conflict for example.)

Exactly. Shepard was forced to select between the two extremes in ME2 and was able to keep the neutral dialogue option; why change the system for ME3?

Don't worry, I did this on my second playthrough. Eve is alive and well, and I'm looking forward to Tali freaking out about the spiders. Whether I'll get the Normandy dialogue, that's another thing entirely due to THAT DAMN ENGINEERING BUG.

You did? When did you do the turian patrol and bomb missions exactly? Because I know someone who had the bomb go off and I don't want to take any chances.

And yes, that engineering bug made me very sad.

Oh wait PPPPTTHHH. I read that wrong. Derp reading comp moment for me. I was thinking of the rachni mission Wrex gives you at the same time as Victus gives you the bomb mission. Sorry for my derp, I haven't had anything to eat yet today so I guess my brain had a dumb. Um, now come to think of it I'm not sure. You *might* be able to put off the bomb plot... guess I'll have to check this. If the bomb can be put off until after Priority: Citadel like the Rachni mission, then I suppose its possible. Worth a try. I don't think completing Priority: Rannoch closes off any missions.

Edit: According to what I just read, Priority: Citadel does NOT lock out Tuchanka: Turian Platoon. It only locks out Tuchanka: Bomb. So in other words, it should/might be possible to put off Turian Platoon until AFTER Rannoch, provided you don't do the first part of the mission where you rescue Victus' son. Worth testing, I'd say.

Yeah, that bug really hits me hard, especially since I have a really hard time letting Ashley live over Kaidan. That cool "bro moment" over a meal on the citadel complicates things further. Apparently, even if you use gibbed save editor to fix this problem by changing the integers it STILL doesn't fix all of the dialogue, Grr.

Also sign me up for the "would personally love to know why so much of Ash's contents were cut"

I see the interactions with Ashley (if you romanced her) on Mars, when Eva almost kills her, when you visit her in the hospital, the romance scene, and her goodbye on Earth as what "might have been" if Bioware had more time/money OR cared enough about expanding on a romance that isn't Liara. They obviously cared about VS-romancers, but there's a massive valley of ambient auto-dialogue from when you recruit them to right before you assault Cronos Station, which tells me that they were on a time crunch and had their focus shifted on other things.

Hoping a new content patch or DLC will add to this... but I don't wanna hold my breath.

You need to activate the cure mission by doing either the rachni mission or the platoon rescue mission. After completion of one of those quests, the cure mission turns on.

After completion of the platoon rescue mission, the bomb mission also activates and has a 3-mission timer (if you do three more missions, the bomb goes off). If you want to bring the VS on this mission, you have to do the cure, the coup, and then immediately do the bomb mission. Or you can simply do the rachni mission and save the platoon rescue mission for any point in the game (the bomb mission always has that timer, but it doesn't start until after the platoon rescue); that is what you'll need to do to get Tali to go with you on the bomb mission.

If you take Kaidan on the bomb mission and Tali isn't on the ship, then he will be talking with Garrus afterward (I'm not sure about Ashley). Kaidan at least has dialogue for all three missions, even though you usually won't have the VS back before doing them.

From another thread (in the Spoiler Forum):

Was tweeting with Michael Gamble on Twitter about the impact of character writers, like Sylvia, not having an input with the EC. His reply made sense, and I was mainly just not sure what he meant by the term "character voices". Anyway, when I asked for clarification he replied again (worded very similar to the first) and I noticed he deleted the original.

The original (only my posts show on web, had to screenshot on my phone):
http://img.photobuck...ld/IMG_3041.png

The second reply:
https://twitter.com/...188201284874242

It's strange. The only difference is that in the first he gave the impression he might consult with people like Sylvia. So, maybe not so much consulting? Still, it's nothing big. Just thought it was a weird (unnecessary?) sequence. Wouldn't have been worth mentioning if not for the deletion/change.

Does anyone know how to use twitter to ask them questions. I want to ask if they ever considered having a batarian squadmate?

And thank you for getting things back on track.

With confused deliverance: "It would appear that the developers are not set on retconning dead characters back to life." With genuine surprise: "I didn't even know this was a thing."

Coriann Campbell@MrsVulture

Is there a chance that DLC (not the EC) may retconn certain deaths? I want some Kal'Reegar. Wouldn't say no to more Thane.

[/b]PatrickWeekes ‏ @PatrickWeekes
Nothing is impossible, but it's very unlikely. De-logicking a death would be a scripting nightmare, very risky technically.

Honestly that sort of thing shouldn't even be considered. The EC does not need fanservice pandering.

This.

But some interaction with Kal'Reegar earlier in the storyline in some DLC format (not necessarily in the EC) before the "he's dead" letter wouldn't be so bad.

With understanding and partial agreement "I can see your point, however that is different than retconning a character death."
