Not on Twitter, but Sam Hulick's Facebook page mentioned something about a BIG ME3 announcement coming today.

Since he is the music composer, if it's true I imagine it would have to do something with the soundtrack, like an additional tracks release.

Probably so. That's what I assumed anyways.

You sure you're not mixing up his enthusiasm and announcement on the Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition? I've already gotten confirmation from Sascha that he's not working on anything related to ME3, so he can be ruled out.

Just checked his twitter & facebook, I don't see anything recently that revolves anything regarding Mass Effect 3. :|

Ahh ok.

I actually never saw anything on Facebook, but I got that from another gaming forum.  A couple of others saw it too.

Just saying, I never saw anything myself. Just going off of what others said.

There's no telling bro'. I'd like to hear some new tunes for the EC but let's just wait and see what happens.

They will have to make some changes to the soundtrack. To what extenct depends on how extensive the changes are.

I doubt it, Sam is working on BGEE, Sascha Dikiciyan hinted his work is going to a game that will be announced next month

The DLC is just an extension of the ending right? I'd wager they use the music already in the game

But like Carl said we don't really know.

EDIT:

Why would they have to?

For example, if they're adding something to the scene where you activate the Crucible, then they will require longer track to play in the background.

I'm not so sure about that though I suppose they'd want to keep the composers from saying anything if they were indeed working on new music?

Mike didn't say that.

Somebody else said that (in response to Mike's message about the Sony stores closing), so Mike blocked them from Twitter.

I thought it was funny, though. Mike was being a smartass about Sony, so guess what, son? Take your medicine.

But he couldn't handle it.

Dragon age writer david gaider is having trouble with his fans as well.
"So it appears that, according to Tumblr, I either want to ret-con Thedas to add more color or I am a *racist*#facepalm."

Also not even patrick weekes is immune to the dificulty curve in multiplayer this week.
#Sorry I missed you guys last night. Got on late enough that everyone seemed to be in a full group.

#Not my finest hour last night. Part was being a glass cannon playing on Gold, but part was just me having a bad night. Ech.

#Yeah, it was bad last night. Also, not with group I've played with a bunch, but MAN.

#Also, I got sync-killed by banshees more last night than in rest of ME3Mp career combined.

Also he's excited about the new green arrow show...I think, I can't read sarcasm at all.

Either way, I'm in the "don't care" catagory. More interested in SP DLC, unless of course they somehow manage to effectively introduce vehicular combat into the ME3 MP. If they can do that THEN I would be interested.  Image IPB

There did seem to be mention (not from Bioware themselves) that there would be Vorcha, male Quarians, Prothians and new Collecter enemies in the next mutiplayer DLC. This only seems to support it.
Although, if I have to buy it then no thanks. Not until the EC DLC patches things up.

MP DLC = Lame

SP DLC = meaningless until EC comes out

That's why MP was introduced into ME3. They wanted more options for DLC, but the MP has become as stale as Horde or Zombies. Enough with the MP DLC. They haven't been able to create any SP DLC, because they have to redo the **** ending.

EA = fail
EA + Bioware = artistic integrity / garbage

So it would be better for the MP team to just sit idle? They have nothing to do with the singleplayer DLC creation.

And chances are it may be a free DLC again, since they end up making money off of people who use real cash to buy the packs. I don't see it hurting any, especially when its probably keeping more people playing ME3 than the SP campaign is.

If they actually add Protheans I will Facepalm hard. The others I'd love to see, though.

I think it'll be free again, though, seeing as they probably make a bomb from people buying Spectre packs and this encourages people to. It'd make no sense to charge for the classes. Though, I suppose they could charge for the maps.

More money made with multiplayer means more money for Bioware/EA, which possibly means more money to justify creating additional SP DLC... just saying. As much as it "hurts" to think about it, the longer they can milk the money from consumers with additional content, the longer the game has the potential to last.

Besides, if you have enough money to buy an Xbox/PS3/PC and games for it, I'm pretty sure $5-$10 DLC packs are more than affordable. That's about what I spend for the average meal, and last I checked I can't replay my last meal for additional entertainment at no additional cost. Well, I could, but eating what I already digested isn't very enjoyable.
